Well, I'm finally back to update you on the post "Overcoming Adversity, Change, and Life's Challenges" As most of you know, our family started off the New Year with quite a barrage of unfortunate events. When my wife told me that I should write a post on my Blog about the whole 3 day ordeal, being the stubborn Leo and mule that I am, I resisted! I was in too much shock and drowning in self pity to think anyone needed to know or would care. Man, was I wrong!After finishing the post, I did feel a bit better, but when I started reading the comments from a few of you, I totally lost it and just had to walk away! It took me a while to even come back to the post, and start reading them again. Every comment, every word, every response simply made me weep! I'm not ashamed, I've been humble
We searched and found a beautiful home for a young couple a few months back and successful negotiated and went under contract. The couple was pre approved by their lender and had provided the document to the sellers which helped solidify the deal.
Just before closing their credit was pulled again as underwriting normally does. Our customers (buyers) received a call from their lender and much to their horror was informed that they were not approved to close.
To make a long story short, they had given a family member a credit card to a furniture store and over $10,000 in furniture had been charged to their account! The lender disapproved the loan. Not a pretty story!
We always inform our buyers not to charge anything, change jobs, or buy a car before closing.This has been known to end many a sale! It is very important to not charge anything or apply for other loans during this sensitive period.

I have always wanted to capture a photo of a "hummingbird in flight", but it is almost impossible. If you're a photographer, you know what I mean. I went into the backyard this afternoon to help my son do the yard-work, and we noticed that the bougainvillea tree needed some trimming. As I got closer to the thorny limbs, I noticed a hummingbird sitting on the branch not two feet away from me. Getting a shot like this was like capturing lightning on film. Definately a rare photo opportunity.I slowly backed away, ran into the house, grabbed my Panasonic with the Leica lens, and managed to return before the bird had received clearance from flight control. This time, he let me come within a foot to capture this shot just before he flew away. These birds are FAST! In two seconds, he/she was gone!! I took 40 shots in burst mode and got a couple really good ones from different angles.&nbs
