CHEMISTRY: Life Goes On -side K-

      Life Goes On
Gerald's battle with leukemia ended Saturday night in the Philippines. Twelve hours behind in New York, it was 11am. When I received the news within minutes of his death, I was just waking up to beautiful blue skies in the city.Less than an hour later, I received a text message from a friend in Charlotte, North Carolina: "Don't forget to wish Kelli a happy 28th bday today."A Year Ago Today: No pos

      Life goes on
OK, it's time for this guy here to get back to his new way of living. It was nothing but a pathetic, way too sweet post my latest one and that's not what I plan to be - weak, exposed, ready to be hurt again. I just want to be the dating maniac, the dating expert, the man who just gets girls and nothing more. It's no time for love yet. No time for impossible love! And, based on the fact that

      Life Goes On
My father-in-law passed away a week ago. It is one of those passings that is a mixture of sadness and relief. He had lived a full life (nearly 88) years. He was losing his mind to Alzheimer’s. And several times a day, he wished he could die. He died in my arms from what I [...]

      As life goes on… A post-mortem salute.
A person I liked extremely well for her incredible kindness and self-sacrificial nature has moved on to the next world… Ingrid-Line Hernholm, mother of 5, passed away peacefully on April 14th after she had been in coma since suffering a brain hemorrhage on April 1st. She suffered the brain stroke while working for Norwegian Association for [...]

      Crónica 95: Life goes on

Life Goes On for the Living
Okay, I am getting over my bad experience from Monday. I don’t really want to talk about it anymore, I’m trying to forget and get back on with my life. You can read my post from Monday if you want more information. I just need to say, however, how important it is for us humans to live life with our eyes wide open. When we do that, and we see the things that need to be changed and bettered, we can’t look away. Too many people bury their heads in the sand, refuse to look at the truths, and just go along with their daily lives. An maybe we don’t have to look at everything with a microscope. But if we look at some things, important things, then the world can become a better place. I can’t look away from my codependency and my anxiety. I have to do something about it on a regular basis or my life goes into the toilet. I can’t look away from animals that need help. Dogs that need to be rescued so they are not killed in the shelter, and animals humans use a

Life goes on at NFL – Packers face Cowboys
After all the grief from the past days (and now that the news seem to be “outshined” by other random stuff like the rumors of Britney Spears being pregnant for the third time, apparently J.R. Rotem being the father), we will have to say that unfortunately, life goes on. And so does NFL. Thursday night will have a great NFL football game (Green Bay Packers @ Dallas Cowboys) to remind us we have to move on after Sean Taylor’s tragedy.  The Packers-Cowboys matchup has brought a lot of expectation for NFL betting fans since both teams are 10-1 right now, leading their Divisions. Those are the best teams on the NFC right now and it will be some kind of power struggle. Green Bay has been solid throughout these NFL Season weeks, and the Cowboys have been more unstable but there’s no doubt they’re getting better with each game. Judging for their recent games, they’re really tight on the winning streak (Packers 6W, Cowboys 5W). We could say right now there’s a slighter chance of

Life Goes On .. LeAnn Rimes
Presently Though Stuck on LeAnn Rimes new album "Family" I became an admirer from her song "Life Goes On" from the album "Twisted Angel". While on the road my play list is always on shuffle mode. By chance my cell player picked up this song today. I couldn't stop myself from listening it quite a few times. Here's Life Goes on for you You sucked me in..And played my mindJust like a toyYou would crank and windBaby I would give till you wore it outYou left me lyin' in a pool of doubtAnd you're still thinkin' you're the Daddy MacYou should've known better but you didn'tAnd I can't go backOh Life goes onAnd it's only gonna make me strongIt's a fact, once you get on boardSay good-bye cause you can't go backOh it's a fight, and I really wanna get it rightWhere I'm at, is my life before meAnd this feelin' that I can go backWish I knew thenWhat I know nowYou held all the cardsAnd sold me outBaby shame on you, if you fool me onceShame on me if you fool me twiceYou've been a prett

      Life goes on
Jammer came by my office today to drop off a copy of his new album. It's got old and new stuff on there, which is good to see - it means you get all the classics. I asked him about the Hot Chip incident last weekend and he said he didn't know anything about it and was really pissed off that someone would threaten someone else at his party. He was even trying to get the guy's number to call and apologise. As well as his new album, Jammer also left behind his hoody, which he wants me to give away on here. He's had it since he was 18 but said he didn't want to wear it home because it was too hot, and asked me to do a competition for it. To win it, all you need to do is write a poem (or maybe just some bars) about why you love Jammer and email it to me or write it in the comments section. The best one wins the hoody.Jammer will be playing Tales of the Jackalope this Saturday. I'm doing a set with him, Trim and Facion G. Dizzee Rascal is playing the main stage too. I've got some chea

Iran, Sanjaya, and My Life Goes On
I was so grouchy yesterday, it annoyed me when I almost swerved off the road . . . signs that I’ve been working too hard.  Today was better, I was ahead of my game most the day and hen I got home it was just like “ahhhhhh . . . let’s go out and eat!”  We went to Baja Fresh and I had a burrito “enchilada” style (God I love those).  My baby girl impressed me in that she enjoys dipping her chips in salsa now and she’s only just over 2.  She has an iron will and definitely will run a company if not the world one day.  My wife, now 8 months pregnant, was feeling better so she went to her college class.  Thus, I am left at home with my son and daughter.  I couldn’t believe what I read yesterday about Iran seizing that British ship.  What the hell right do they think they have to do that?  If anybody reads this from Iran, please explain it to me okay?  We are in a war with Iraq over there and the British are aiding us.  It has nothing
