I know I posted about going to the library today, but I'm still a bit excited about it and thought it deserved its' own post. I decided to go today just to get the travel guides. The library is not conveniently located to my house or school. It's probably a 15 mile round trip. However, I decided to go for it! I was absolutely amazed at the number of travel guides on the shelf. There were rows and rows! And they were all current. I figured the library might only have old ones, but nope, these were the 2008 editions! Then, I was looking at the new non-fiction books and they had the brand new Tom Cruise biography. In Dec 2007, we visited an interesting and unusual library in the school at Bangkachang island, off Koh Kong Cambodia.The construction cost of the library was sponsored by a non-profit organization (Greentree Global) in the States.
