Mike Reagan published a great piece in NewsMax on The Haditha Marines, below are some excerpts from his article:You'd hardly know it if you relied on the mainstream media, but the government's case against the Haditha Marines took another body blow last Friday that may be the beginning of the end for this whole sorry attempt to severely punish eight heroic United States Marines for doing what they are trained to do. In a surprise development on the day Lance Cpl. Stephen Tatum's court-martial was scheduled to begin, all charges against him were dropped without explanation. Tatum, facing charges of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault that couldhave sent him to prison for 18 years, was the fifth Marine - and the second of three enlisted men - to be exonerated, leaving only one enlis
Have you ever wondered how the liberal media works? We put together this timeline of how “news” spreads in the liberal media....Take a look at this interview Glenn did on the Tuesday, March 4th edition of Glenn Beck on Headline News...
I have always stayed away from politics here, and I’m not sure why… it’s not because I’m scared of stirring up controversy or driving readers away. I don’t really care, and I’ve always spoken my mind about everything else here. Maybe it’s just the fact that politics really annoy the fuck out of me. They are exciting at times, I suppose, but only if you get to the root of the matter, not the smoke that the media and politicians are trying to blow up everybody’s ass. It’s really hard for me to care about a candidate when I don’t ever feel like I know their real views, just what they think will get them elected. I guess I can’t even blame them; honestly, it’s simply the political culture that America has fostered. But before this turns into a rant about a differe
Our troops are beating Al Qaeda in Iraq. In the last few months the military has dealt major blows to the terrorist group and some generals are advocating a declaration of victory.I went to ABCNews.com, CBSNews.com and NewYorkTimes.com and no where on their homepages did I see any mention of this. Blackwater, death rates dropping and Communist China were the headlines on those site but there was no mention of the progress that was being made in Iraq. The kind of progress we are having there is more important than anything else they are reporting on. Those other stories are good news but you can't leave the most important stuff out. If it were the other way around and generals were saying that Al Qaeda in Iraq was forcing us out, these news outlets would be all over it. This just shows how much the liberal media is invested in defeat. They don't want anything positive coming out of Iraq.I hope that you all will realize that these media outlets are not interested in victory and want b

Dennis Miller once made a joke that liberals will get behind the War in Iraq when we can develop Green weapons. Well, it appears that the Russians have done just that with arguably the most powerful bomb ever invented. It also appears they have convinced the liberal media around the world that the development of this bomb is a good thing. In fact, another article from Australia focused almost exclusively on the environmental benefits. How do they know it is environmentally friendly? Col. Gen. Alexander Rukshin, a deputy chief of the Russian military's General Staff said, "Unlike a nuclear weapon, the bomb doesn't hurt the environment." So this became the story. Wow!! Just like America, where General Petraeus can say something and reporters take him at his word. Not only do they take him at his word, they base their story around what he says. This is just ridiculous. So according to the World Media, who liberals hope to emulate, "The Russian military has successfully tested what it de
It appears that this week is full of meaningless surveys. However, I think with the newest Washington Post-ABC News poll, we have all reached a new level of absurdity. According to the poll, about half of the public thinks the Supreme Court is generally balanced in its decisions, but a growing number of Americans say the court has become "too conservative" in the two years since President Bush began nominating justices. I bet if they polled that same sample of respondents, half of them would not know who Samuel Alito is. Moreover, most Americans, including members of the media, have never read a legal case. Sadly, even if they did, most of them would not know how to determine the merits of its holding. It is not the fault of these people, but there is a reason why people go to law school for three years, and then spend decades mastering the profession. While lack of legal knowledge is understandable for the majority of Americans, some people have no excuse. For example, the
Recently, the liberal media has not even attempted to hide their overt bias. Just take a look at these two headlines about Fred Thompson. Keep in mind that these are not editorials: 1) “Will her Face Determine His Future?” by Susan Saulney of the New York Times; and 2) “Thompson lacks substance, but still wows Young Republicans,” By Brendan Farrington of the Associated Press. The first article called Fred Thompson’s wife a “trophy wife.” Forget her extensive background: She is a former Senate aide and a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee. What an insult! Not only is this unacceptable journalism, let me also remind you that Thompson has not even entered the race. You can bet your bottom dollar that had anyone done an article like this about John Edwards’ wife, that person would have been fired, and the article never would have been printed. Moreover, could you imagine an article titled, “Hillary Clinton Has No Real Experience, but Leaches off her Hus
This is the first follow-up editorial I have written since we started this blog. I usually like to provide a diverse group of topics for our audience, but this had to be done. Many of you who read my previous post, Supreme Court Strikes Down Seattle School District's Racial Balancing, no doubt understand my anger. Being an expert about the Seattle School District case, the recent misinformation that has taken place on television, in newspapers, and on blogs, is enough to make me want to vomit. I will not rehash every point I made in my previous post, but I will cite several examples in the media where inaccuracies clearly could have been corrected. This list is not exclusive: The Huffinton Post’s heading: Supreme Court Rules Schools Must Ignore Race In Diversity Plans, is objectively incorrect. Justice Kennedy’s Concurrence made sure that race may still be used as a factor in some circumstances. Moreover, if Race could no longer be used, then that would likely outlaw af
This is a great idea with an interesting choice for a title. It’s the kind of thing Jon Stewart lives for:
Pushing back at what they say has been one of the most secretive administrations in decades, congressional Democrats are marking “Sunshine Week” with bills to increase public access to government activities and protect [...]
