This past weekend I had the great joy of experiencing the wonderful Iron Man (review coming), which ranks right up there with the best of the superhero movies, the original Superman (1978). The new Lexus IS-F will go on sale 25 December with a starting price of yen 7,660,000 (EURO 46,286 or USD 65,268).Lexus is aiming to inject 'the joy of driving' into the premium sports car, something which many enthusiasts claim the Japanese manufacturers lack (and even Toyota themselves seems to think so). Lexus will be gracing the 2007 SEMA show for the first time as it showcases its F-series models and performance parts. Lexus will be backed up by the marque’s corporate parent, Toyota, which is also the show’s official sponsor. The new performance parts lineup will be announced at a press conference on October 30. Included in the Lexus exhibit is the new IS-F sport sedan, which goes on sale in early 2008 and will be available for test-drives to SEMA attendees. 2007  Australian International Sydney Motor Show automakers report: Lexus is going to debut the LS 600hL luxury hybrid, the IS-F performance sedan and the LX 570 luxury off-roader at the Sydney Motor Show. The 2007 Lexus stand will encompass the brand’s complete hybrid vehicle line-up, headlined by the soon-to-be-released Lexus LS 600hL long-wheelbase luxury saloon. Lexus LS 600hL is the world’s first V8 hybrid, and the all-wheel drive also features Lexus’ most opulent interior, containing an ottoman rear seat. As Lexus updated the 2008 Lexus GS a few days ago, but Toyota has released a slew of official high-res images and all the specs on its midlevel luxury sedan and hybrid counterpart. For 2008, the GS 430 has been cancelled and replaced with the GS 460 sporting a 4.6L V8 producing 342 hp and 339 ft-lbs of torque. The bigger motor is also mated to Lexus’ eight-speed transmission. The GS 350 retains its 3.5L V6 that produces a still respectable 303 hp and 274 ft-lbs. of torque. While all-wheel drive is available on the GS 350, it makes do with a mere six-speed auto. Toyota Motor Europe has something to celebrate as their Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles top the 100,000 mark in European sales. The vehicles were launched way back in 2001 and have taken six years to sell 101,235 vehicles, and these figures are set to climb quickly as more people go for the hybrid option. The biggest seller when it comes to these green cars is the Toyota Prius, which has seen sold over 73,000 units since 2000 in Europe. The Lexus LS 600h has helped with the 27,000 sales that the company has achieved in Europe. Both Toyota and Lexus expect to sell about 1.22 million vehicles annual, and out of that sales figure the both expect at least 44,500 of them to be hybrids. The Lexus GS-F which will be out in 2012 will have a beast of an engine the 500 HP V10; it seems as if Toyota want to take on the BMW M5. This is only a rumor though so do not read too much in but we do hope that it will become more of a rumor. The 500 HP is a sub-five-liter V-10 Formula 1-inspired engine so you know that the results will be superb. So the 2012 Lexus GS-F will be one fast sedan. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that is a modified version from the LS 460; you can also switch over to manual shift by using the F1 style paddles for a true racing feel. The Lexus LF-A is a look ahead for Lexus’s newly hatched F performance brand. When we first saw a concept of this car at the Detroit Auto Show just two years ago, we predicted that would not be the last we saw of this car. Since then, we’ve been following along as our Peeping Tom spy photographers captured the car in various levels of undress playing on the Nürburgring. Now Lexus shows us another LF-A concept still closely related to the original, but with an evolved look. The original “L-Finesse” styling has grown more intricate, with the formerly smooth sides and sharp edges maturing into sculpted panels and organic curves. The yawning, square cooling vents that dominated the original show car’s hind end have shrunk and are integrated more gracefully into the tail, intertwining with the taillights; and we are pleased to see
