This recipe is by no means low fat but there really isn’t much point to it all if you can’t indulge sometimes.
Lemons are one of those foods that are very beneficial to your health. They are full of minerals and vitamins, essential to your body, healthy raw sugars and will help to balance the acidity in your body so that your immune system thrives.
They are rarely used other than as a garnish which is a shame considering just how good they are for you.

Austin Cundy, an 11 year old boy, put up a lemonade stand to raise money so that he can buy a birthday present for his mother and so that he could go with his grandparents on a camping trip. Two teens drove by on bicycles when one of the teens punched the boy, pushed him out of his chair and then too his wallet and money container.
Police got a tip which placed them at a 17 year old boy’s home where they found the money container, but nothing was in it. As of right now the teen is being held for physical abuse of a young child and robbery, and could be facing charges.
After this story hit the news Austin has said that businesses are offering to let him put up a lemonade stand by their building, and that some people are sending him cards with money so that he can still go camping with his grandparents and be able to buy his mother a birthday present.

Here’s a great way for kids to learn about the fine art of running a lemonade stand: Sunkist’s Take a Stand 2007. For $25, Sunkist is offering lemonade stand kits to kids ages 7 to 12 who want to raise money for their favorite charity. Steph’s Lemonade
This basic blend is the reason our household buys RealLemon juice in bulk.
1 C. fresh lemon juice or RealLemon
1 C. Sugar
Add both to a 2-Liter pitcher (standard size.) Fill with water. Stir. Serve over ice, and add a sprig of mint if you really want to be fancy.
Sweet Southern Lemonade Tea
Make lemonade as directed above.
Make strong tea. (6-8 teabags, one liter of water, pour over ice to melt.)
Mix together 3 parts tea to 1 part lemonade.
