Dc Comics isn't exactly known for these wilder comics, but for fanboys who are in the know, Vertigo is an offshoot of DC comics and arguably is doing better than the DC universe when compared to the Marvel masterpieces that are being dealt out from time to time. The Legacy of Swamp Thing covers nearly 200 pages of graphic novel goodness, collecting the original issues into one easy to read paperback. I actually enjoy this series because the artwork and covers are really well thought out, and the interiors are a throwback to the golden era of drawing and inking. Just look at the previews! I love the idea of Time Vault Letters i.e. you write a letter or record a DVD to someone or yourself, post date it, after which the company will mail it on the specific date. They will store it in their fire/ waterproof vault up to 5 years from the day you post date it.

I hate needles; I can't even watch when they take my blood. So I spent the weekend in a state of low-grade panic. I couldn't even begin to imagine putting a needle into my own body. Monday as my fear started to ratchet up to hysteria, I put it in the Lord's hands, and he reminded me that fear is not from Him. It was ok to be nervous, but the amount of fear I had was unnecessary. I had to wait a bit at the doctor's office, but I'm so glad that I went and didn't try to do it myself at home.
