      Lazy Saturday Afternoons
There is something comforting about being able to hear my neighbor taking a shower through our living room window. Though I don't know that he ... or she ... really classifies as a neighbor since he ... or she ... lives in the adjacent building, and we share neither hallways nor downstairs door keys, but simply windows into a narrow alley. But we must commonly recognize the sounds of living on the

      6th Day: Lazy Saturday
Despite tremendous times on my hand, I have decided regrettably to do the bare minimum. As such, I just barely got started on learning my trigonometry for Space Fighter Ace.As for my RubyTet, which now have a project page at the KibaBase, I just finished making all the shape classes. For Libregamewiki, I updated the planet. I am not going to take it down even though Free Game Dev planet already ex

      Lazy Saturday
Despite my original intention of not leaving the house today we ended up popping down the shops. The pond was in bad need of another treatment for blanket weed which has re-appeared with a vengeance in the far corner. Whilst we were out and walking through the car park we saw a baby starling hopping about looking for food. Living and foraging in a car park has made him completely unafraid of

      A Lazy Saturday Morning
I had just read the part where Ariel takes a fork she found in a shipwreck to her friend Scuttle, who tells her it's used as a brush by humans to straighten their hair.Gabi: That's not what a fork is for!Me: No? What's a fork for?Gabi: For when you don’t want to pick it up with your fingers, because it could get all over your shirt if you’re not careful and you don’t want to use a napkin.

What Not To Do On A Lazy Saturday Afternoon
      1. Don't have a very heavy lunch of spaghetti and homemade meatballs and tuna2. Don't watch a DVD while having said lunch (I watched Monsoon Wedding)3. Don't lie down for a nap right after having the heavy lunch and watching the DVD.If you did all of the above, you might have weird dreams just like I did.I kept dreaming about traditional Indian weddings, which I attributed to the movie I'd watched earlier, and being kidnapped before being force fed feta cheese. I'm not sure where the latter dream came from because I have not thought of feta cheese in a while. The dreams were so vivid, so real that I had to force myself to wake up a few times, only to continue the dream when I went back to sleep. It was very disturbing, I tell you.Even with all the dreams that I had, it didn't stop me from p

      Lazy Saturday
This probably won't be the longest blog I'll ever write, but I want to get into the habit of blogging at least once a day, even on my days off. I have haven't changed my mind yet, as far as stopping trying to sell my intellectual, and concentrating on blogging. The difficult bit will be a week on Tuesday when Doug Adams my representative from innovation International phones me, and tries to persuade me to continue to work in innovation. As much as I pray one day I will successfully sell some intellectual property, things have come to a crunch for me, and I really must whole heartedly concentrate on making a residual income somehow from the Internet. I have thought about affiliate programs, and trying to selling clickbank digital products via advertising on Googles adword, but at this very

      Lazy Saturday
I was feeling like playing a little poker Saturday afternoon, mostly because I'm ailing from a nasty case of Guitar-Hero-Wrist that makes it extremely painful to play on Expert.I entered a $5.00+.50 45-person S&G, and here are some highlights:Oh, wait. There are no fucking highlights. next hand I got my last 150 chips in with AsKs and got called by Qd4d. He turned a flush and I was toast.Fuckin' A, that puts a sour taste in my mouth.I'm gonna go play some Guitar Hero.-The Gerk-

Rumble: A Lazy Saturday in Rome
Tine and the girls were here last week. The first days, the weather sucked. Rain, dark, depressive. On Friday everything opened up, and Saturday was as glorious a day as it could be.Here is a menu to spend a Saturday in Rome:1/ Late morning, you drive to Fiumicino, at the sea:2/ You pick your usual Cafe, with a terrace, and have a breakfast consisting of a Cafe Latte and one or two cornetti (croissants). During breakfast, you admire your two girls and how much they have grown in the past month.3/ Take a walk alongside the port of Fiumicino. Stand still by the small things. People sitting in the sunshine, chatting. Fishermen mending the nets or preparing the boats for next week's trip.4/ Then, in all laziness, drive off to town and scout the Campo di Fiori market. Suck up all the odours of flowers, spices, fish, meat on the roast, vegetables and fruits. Indulge into the crowds around the market stands. Enjoy the laughter and to-and-fro shouting of the vendors.5/ End up at a restaurant,

      Lazy Saturday
I woke up late this morning…Wah shiok man, it's been some time since I alst pampered myself with a good sleep. There was a Geography field trip to the Central Catchment Area, that's Macritchie Reservoir, but sadly I couldn't make it. I was tied down with sleep! My buddy, firdooze, was so enthu about the event and "tried" turning up for the event. Well, he arrived at the meeting point late! The group had already left, and he tried catching up with them but instead traversed the wrong way…a longer route. Hahhaha you're funny man firdooze. Well, he tried hard to zoom past the long, arduous road through the tree-top canopy walk, but got tired soon enough….Poor lad, fasting somemore leh. So he decided to take a stroll instead. I bet he was lonely with his canon 350d and sigma 24-70…Eh bro, why you never tell me earlier…My cousins live there leh, I could've called them to help you find the shortest possible route to go cat

Lazy Saturday: Taken to a Whole New Level
Well, this is something of an odd situation. Last night I was pissed that I couldn't get anything going and as a result was staying home. Well, I did. But at about 2:30 my friend and his girl called...they were on their way home from a party. I was about to go to bed, but they were calling from the parking lot so I went down there and let them in. One is a librarian and the other is a teacher...not the kind of people you'd think would want to stay all night or something. So we come up to my place and they see Netflix envelopes. Immediately FJ begins opening them and one of them is 12 Monkeys, a movie I rent over and over again because I keep forgetting that I've already seen in. Anyway, by this time it's nearly three in the morning and that's not exactly an ideal time to start a movie.I got to sleep somewhere around six or seven and didn't wake up until 2:15 this afternoon. That's pretty messed up. It would've been no big deal, really, but I missed the Klonopin and Priol
