Splitsvilla: TRP game play – Laying foundation for growing sick trend in media!
By Shilz I’m seriously losing any respect I had for the MTV India crew. Granted roadies was a series of bleeped out sound bytes and mind numbing cat fights with added masala of changing rules and re-entries. However, the challenges were nevertheless good enough for it to be rated a ‘reality adventure show’. But MTV’s Splitsvilla, was the worst show I have ever seen. It was just a shamel

Laying Down On An Acid Reflux Pillow
An acid reflux pillow can change the way you experience this disease in so many ways. The most common time for acid reflux to afflict its sufferers is at night when the body is laid down. It is because the body is in the prone position that it

Homework: Laying the Foundation for Success by Karen L. Alaniz
“Let’s go through your backpack.” I said innocently. Zachary tossed the backpack on the sofa and headed for the kitchen. Unzipping the bag, I reached in and pulled out the contents. Papers, library books and construction paper projects fell to the floor. “Zach.” I said. “Come back here and help me with this.” Zach hopped across the floor to me. “Oh yeah.” He said shuffling through a pile of construction paper. “I remember this. I need to do a project about insects.” “A project?” I asked. “What project?” But he was on to another pile. “And this math packet-I can’t remember when it’s due.” He said tossing it aside. Zach has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) so organization isn’t his strong-suit. Most of this was avoidable, if only I’d taken the time to lay the groundwork for a new school year. So with Zach by my side, we went through the papers and right away I could see some key problems. But more importantly

Skin Beauty Tips: Laying a Great Foundation
Skin foundations are meant to give your skin as natural a look, and as flawless a complexion as possible, but they only work their magic to its maximum effect if you know how to apply them correctly! If you want to make the most of your skin foundation, there are some basic steps which you should follow. First, if you're using a foundation of the incorrect color, nothing you do with it will work. You can find the foundation perfectly matched to your skin tones by visiting the cosmetics counter at your favourite department store, and working with the beauty consultant. You may even be rewarded with free samples of foundations with which to experiment. If you have selected a liquid foundation, you should apply "dots" of it to your chin, nose, cheeks, and forehead, and use a damp cosmetic sponge to blend it into your skin. Blending is the real secret to foundation application; no woman has ever blended her foundation too much. Be sure that you blend it all the way to both your jaw line

Soul Calibur IV keeps laying on the sexuality
Soul Calibur IV's bountiful breasts bounce along as Namco Bandai recently released more images of characters in the game. The first outing for the Soul Calibur crew on current-gen consoles is becoming better known for its breasts than anything else following a first-look at Ivy and her string-top battle bra in early June. Now we have Sophitia (above) in her almost see-through Jennifer Lopez-inspired double-sided-tape-required battle gear. Her sister Cassandra can be found in the gallery below with her breasts packed in nicely with a hole to breath through and show cleavage. Seriously, these women are fighting with blades in these outfits. How is this sane? Also, after the break, we have a borderline NSFW image of Voldo. Now, granted, Voldo has always been overtly sub-pornographic with a BDSM vibe; however, the place where he has a spike coming out of now may be a bit over-the-top. Laying a good foundation
The most important thing in flyball training is laying a good foundation from which to build upon. Just as with building a house, this process should not be rushed because everything that comes after will use this foundation. Many people just entering the sport want to see results too fast and when they don’t see them they get discouraged and quit. A 6 or 8 week flyball course is not enough time to have most dogs trained and running in the ring as most new people expect. Six to 8 weeks may not even be enough time to achieve a good solid foundation and this is where many trainers fail. (more…)

The photo in this entry is The Pacific Coast. Photographed and edited by me, Lynda Walldez. The past few days have been tumultuous between getting my laptop repaired, managing funds, and a few projects online. Since things have gotten too out of whack, I will be taking some time off to get back on track with everything. It shouldn't take too long before I'm back to blog my heart out again, just a few days. :D A few days ago I was overwhelmed by a personal situation in my life, which made me decide that investing the way I have been in my online life would not be worth it in the long run. I seem to have gotten caught up in the hype of blogging, and now I am left having spent so much money practically for nothing. I haven't really made much from blogging, and now I don't really care to focus on monetizing. I think just carrying on the purpose I had for this blog in the beginning is better for me and more rewarding for anyone who reads my blog. Plain and simple, this is my personal

Quinn Laying Groundwork for Training Camp Holdout
The new look Cleveland Browns may very well start training camp without their new QB - Brady Quinn. The Cincy Enquirer is reporting that Quinn’s agent, Tom Condon, may hold his high profile client out of Browns training camp. This should not be much of a shock, as the team has had a history of #1 picks holding out for a moderate amount of time since their return to the league in 1999. At a recent practice, Quinn was already putting the blame for a possible holdout on his agent and his new team. “That’s something, I don’t know, that’s (Condon’s) job,” Quinn told reporters. “The pressure’s on him, not me. The pressure’s on me to perform on the field. I think there (are) two sides to it. It’s not just on me. It’s on him and the Browns. They’ve got to come to an agreement and figure something out. I’m just a guy out here playing. They’re doing all the talking.” That is not a good attitude for Qu

      Laying Demons To Rest
flangracneig pgoramian For those of you who know me and read this blog, you’ll know that I had a weird heart thingy just over a year ago. Whilst physically I have been fine, emotionally I have never fully recovered, so much so that any sort of pain and injury results in me becoming a bit of a hypochondriac, and convincing myself I am going to die. It’s all very well individuals saying “yeah, you’re fine, get over it”, but I’m one of those people that need convincing. I need showing that I’m fine. However, if I’m lead to a treadmill, I’m shit myself and run away. It’s hard finding 23 year olds who have been in hospital with dodgy . I don’t want to celebrate prematurely, but last night, I feel I shaked my demons. Last night I went to play a game of football with some of the Bay fans. It was only 9 a side, but it was over a full size pitch. All in all, I played around 80 minutes, and - although I wasn’t a key player c

Fixed Liability and Fixed Profit Laying
As it's a relatively quiet day on the racing front I thought I'd write a little post about the difference between laying to a liability and to a fixed profit. I lay to a fixed profit as I've looked at both ways and it's quite a lot more profitable for me to lay to a fixed profit. If anyone is wondering what the difference might be, I'd definitely recommend doing some research of past results to find out. I think it depends quite highly on your strike rate and average winning lay. For example, if someone has a strike rate around 60% then I'd say laying to a fixed liability would be more profitable.Laying to fixed liability simply means you enter how much you're willing to lose if the horse wins. An example would be a horse at 5/1 and the maximum you want to lose is 100 pounds, you'll win 20 pounds if it loses and lose 100 if it wins. A lot of people favour this method as you can lay slightly bigger priced horses without fear of losing a big percentage of your bank. But the flip

Stop buying broken products and then shrugging your shoulders when it doesn't do what it is supposed to. Stop buying products that serve any other master than you. Use older stuff that works. Make it yourself. Only buy new stuff from companies that have proven themselves good servants of their customers in the past. Complaining online about this stuff helps, but really, just stop buying it.You want to know the punchline? The average Joe that makes up the market is smarter than you saps.
