Madhuravan is directing it and Manyam Ramesh is producing the telugu version of Pardhu movie on Manyam Entertainments banner. Music is by Srikanth Deva. Pardhu film completed its shooting part and started its post-production work.

Lawrence has a sentiment with respect to shooting his films. He appears to be not leaving Kukatpally Housing Board Colony for shooting key scenes. When he directed the film ‘Mass’ he used the place to shoot a temple scene. Now the introduction scene of ‘Don’ was shot at apartments opposite JNTU in Kukatpally Housing Board area. Sentiments are very personal and Lawrence is the one who appears to be very sentimental with places. He has seen success with Nagarjuna by ‘Mass’. Now will he find the same success with Nag again by ‘Don? That has to be seen.

Like every year on 10th August, in quarter San Lorenzo in Florence, took place the celebration in honor of Saint Lawrence and the Church of which he is also a patron. The procession, that here we show with some pictures, paraded on the streets in the city center to the Basilica of San Lorenzo (Saint Lawrence), the most antique in the city. Loved through the centuries, by Lords and poor people, the Church was consecrated in 393 from Saint Ambrose. The Church became famous thanks to Medici family who created there their own mausoleum ( Cappelle Medicee, in reality are the part of the monumental complex of San Lorenzo). The festivity in the honor of the Saint, prince of martyr, has antique traditions: on 10th August, apart from costume procession (which takes place also nowadays on the day of San Lorenzo), there was also horse Palio, from Porta San Gallo to Borgo San Lorenzo and during the celebration Mass memorabilia of the Saint were exposed. This is a video of Lawrence Wolfe, assistant principal bass of the Boston Symphony and bass instructor at the New England Conservatory, performing some short Koussevitzky pieces on a Luis and Clark carbon fiber bass and bow. Quite a nice sound, although a player like Mr. Wolfe could make a $500 bass sound fantastic. Director of Constantine and upcoming I Am Legend, Francis Lawrence has gone all fairytale on us! Kepping it mythological but with a younger target audience, his next film will be Snow and The Seven. The live action film, set in 19th Century Hong Kong, is about a British girl realises that it is her destiny to fight a mysterious evil force and is trained by Seven Shaolin monks. The film has been in the development stages for a while now, and the original script (by Josh Harmon and Scott Elder) has been rewritten by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas. The legend that it Yuen Woo-Ping has already signed up to co-ordinate the fight scenes. There is little else news about this movie at the moment, but the studio has stressed that the title of this movie is only a working title so be aware it could change soon. Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed their first-round pick LB Lawrence Timmons out of Florida State to a five-year contract. The report states that Timmons will receive slightly less than $12 million in base pay and up to $15 million, including incentives. He will also receive various guaranteed bonuses of $8,053,000 that includes signing and roster bonuses throughout his five-year deal. Why does this play a factor into the Jets? Timmons was selected 15th overall by the Jets in the NFL Draft in April, just one spot later than the Jets selected cornerback Darrelle Revis. While poking around online recently, I found an older article from Indiana University bass professor and Contrabass Conversations guest Lawrence Hurst: The modern double bass is not a true member of either the violin or viol families. Most likely its first general shape was that of a violone, the largest member of the viol family. Some of the earliest basses extant are violones, (including C-shaped sound holes) that have been fitted with modern trappings. At the beginning of the 17th century, Michael Praetorius (1571-1621) described a violon da gamba sub-bass, a five-stringed specimen tuned DD EE AA D G. While this monster (over 8 feet tall) was tuned very much like the modern bass, it must be considered an unusual bass instrument for any era. John Grillo and I just interviewed Indiana University double bass professor Lawrence Hurst last night for Contrabass Conversations. The screenwriting legend behind The Empire Strikes Back will script the planned Clash of the Titans remake. Lawrence Kasdan has been hired to pen the screenplay for the Warner Brothers Clash of the Titans remake, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A remake of the 1981 cult classic, Titans revolves around Zeus’ son, Perseus, and his journey to save Princess Andromeda during which he must complete various tasks set out by Zeus, including capturing Pegasus and slaying Medusa. The original was the last film for which stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen contributed his groundbreaking special effects. The Oscar-nominated Kasdan is the writer behind such classic films as Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost, and The Big Chill, but it’s his script for The Empire Strikes Back that still resonates with fans. Kasdan penned 2003’s Dreamcatcher, based on the Stephen King story, and has since written, directed, and produced non-fantasy fare such as Mumford and Grand Canyon

dennis was one of the most well-known members of the american pro-facist movement in the 30s and 40s, and often argued that the germans should treat the jews like americans treated blacks. why i am mentioning dennis? well, a new book has come out with a bit of a bombshell about dennis: he was black. dennis "passed" as white while advocating pro-hitler/mussolini policies and associating with arch-segregationists of the day in the states. a great article on the new book and dennis's life can be found here.

The premiere for the film ‘Wild Hogs‘ took place on Tuesday and among the stars there to support Martin Lawrence’s latest film was his longtime friend Tichina Arnold. Those boots are so hot!!! love them!!
