Lauper's concert will also feature appearances by Broadway producer-actress Rosie O'Donnell, former Aida star Deborah Cox and TV host Carson Kressley as well as the rock band The B-52s and the Canadian rock group The Cliks. Good quality advertisments have started appearing on commercial television. Channel 7 have been showing 30 second commercials advertising the tour, and ticket sale information.
Straight For Equality is a new project that “aims to motivate the vast audience of fair-minded Americans who wish to more actively support equality in their daily lives”.
Cyndi will be co-hosting the October 11 Launch News Conference. She will be among the nations first leaders to sign the “Straight For Equality Pledge” and endorse its mission.
