Coming into the offseason, the Jets signed Tuiasosopo in hopes of having him as the veteran quarterback who will push their quarterback of the future Kellen Clemens to win the backup job behind Chad Pennington. Three weeks into the preseason, that is the last of the Jets worries as Kellen Clemens has assumed the backup role with ease. This leaves Tuiasosopo and Brad Smith as options for the third-string quarterback job.
With the sole fact that Brad Smith can play 4-5 other positions on the team and that he is guaranteed a roster spot as a receiver, it makes Tuiasosopo expendable. Smith gives the Jets the versatility not to have to carry three quarterbacks on the roster, knowing that he can slot into that role if need be.

When I give seminars, this is the moment that I introduce the most memorable visual aids I have ever used. Picture yourself holding an empty drinking glass in one hand and a pitcher containing water in the other. The glass represents your house. For simplicity’s sake, let’s say it is worth $100,000. It’s an asset. Let’s say you have $100,000 of cash in the bank (the pitcher) - that’s liquid wealth. The glass is empty because you have not put a penny into your house, but on paper, on a balance sheet, you would still list it as a $100,000 asset. Meanwhile the pitcher of water represents another asset - $100,000 in cash.
What’s the total amount of your assets? $200,000. What happens if you pour the water into the glass? You have reduced your assets by $100,000. You’ve combined $100,000 in cash to a glass already listed as an asset worth $100,000, and all you have to show for it is $100,000. You have cut your assets in half!

Thanks to Anderson Varejao’s curious decision to take it right at Tim Duncan in the final minute of game 3, tonight the Spurs have a chance to lock up their 4th NBA title in 9 years. But before we jump to criticize Varejao, let’s take a look deep inside the man and see where he’s coming from.
–In the 2006 FIBA World Championships Varejao fractured the face of a Greek player in three places with an “inadvertent” elbow.
–Varejao was the recipient of the Cavaliers Continental Airlines “Work Hard, Fly Right” award. For winning the award Varejao recieved 1 million air miles to donate to a charity of his choice.
–Both men and women are infatuated with Varejao for entirely different reasons.
–One of Varejao’s favorite dishes is Moqueca de Peixe, a tropical fish stew. He is especially fond of his mother’s recipe.

Let's face it, Petraeus is not going to come back from Iraq and say "you know, this isn't working, We can't win this." It's blatantly obvious he is going to be positive and optimistic about this, he HAS to be.The question is, will the Republicans in Congress be able to see through the obvious optimism, if they need to, or will they take Petraeus' words and use them to support another six more months of war that will end no different.It is unlikely, if you ask me, there will be any real progress come September. It would take a miracle. Al-Anbar Province is getting better, but Diyala Province is getting worse. T
Well, I was able to finish my denim frames today. Gianni and I also went to my mom's for my grandmother's 89th birthday! I can't believe she's 89. I kind of have us all frozen at a certain age. The season officially starts tomorrow with free practice in Australia, so let's do some summary of what we know and what I expect.We know what the cars are going to look like – here can see each teams’ 2007 F1 livery, including the newly launched Super Aguri SA07We know how will the helmets look like – here are all the F1 race driver 2007 helmets.We know what some of the test drivers’ helmets will look like.We can expect Ferrari, McLaren to lead pack, Renault and BMW chasing them. Williams should be better than last year, Honda will be better than they look now. Toyota will struggle. Super Aguri will move up to the middle of the pack. Red Bull and Toro Rosso will not be anything special and will continue to draw more attention off the track. Hopefully they will not force DC to be a Superman again.
