Je pense que les gens qui lisent ce blog conaissent le principe des Split Singles, certains sont géniaux, d'autre passables. Celui ci rentre plutôt dans la première catégorie. Composé de la reprise qu'Arcade Fire a joué plusieurs fois sur leur dernière tournée (Poupée de cire, poupée de son, de on sait qui) et de No Love Lost, de Lcd Soundsystem, qui reprend Joy Division. Etonnament respectueuse de l'originale, elle lui ajoute ce petit groove estampillé LCD. Pour le meilleur assurement, donnant au morceau des airs d'hymnes. Idéal quand on veut faire danser des gens relouq sur Joy Division (Let's dance to Joy Division & celebrate the agony comme diraient les autres...)LCD Soundsystem - No Love Lost (Joy Division Cover).

LCD soundsystem n'est pas un groupe qui s'oublie comme ça. Je crois qu'il est même beaucoup plus important qu'on veut nous le faire croire. Pour garder la forme voici un remix incroyable, au départ il s'agit d'Us & Them, mais le morceau ne fait rien pour être reconnu (à part la cowbell à 7min30 et vocal à 9m20) . Un vrai rêve éveillé de dix minutes, qui se ballade comme un courant d'air. Divagations instrumentales formidablement bien arrangé et mixé. Con mejor calidad que su primer álbum viene el segundo disco de LCD Soundsystem y se llama Sound of Silver. James Murphy es el que dirige todo y su música es electrónica con algunos toques de punk. Su primer disco tiene el mismo nombre que su proyecto musical LCD Soundsystem, logró el grammy del 2005 al mejor álbum de música electrónica y a la mejor canción, que no podia ser otra que Daft punk is playing at my house (no te puedes perder este video y tampoco la canción), aunque también estaban Movement, Tribulations o Yeah. Sound of Silver is LP #2 from LCD Soundsystem a.k.a. music producer James Murphy. Both electronically upbeat and punk in their leanings, LCD Soundsystem, if it was necessary to classify them, would fall into the dance-punk genre.Their new LP isn't quite so new anymore, but I thought I'd showcase a couple tracks since at least one of them, "North American Scum", has been getting lots of play time lately. Between the very cool supporting female vocals, the great electronic beats, and the general catchiness, I just can't stop playing this track. The fact that it's about "the existential crisis of being American at this particular historical moment" doesn't hurt either."North American Scum" - LCD SoundsystemTime for a change of pace? Here's the track that defies my dance-punk classification, "New York I Love You, But You're Bringing Me Down". It's a lament of sorts, though a clearly tongue in cheek one, and is actually quite charming thanks to its simple vocals and piano backing.

Opps, I did it. I bought a new album from iTunes just after I read some articles about the band and the new album in different newspapers, both Swedish and English. I listened to some of the tracks in iTunes (but what I hate that it is only possible to listen to twenty seconds of each song, that just to short). And I bought it. I talk about LCD Soundsystem and their new album Sound of silver. Facts:LCD Soundsystem is the musical project of producer James Murphy, co-founder of dance-punk label DFA Records. The music of LCD Soundsystem can also be described as a mix of dance music and punk, along with elements of disco and other styles.
