      Christian Lacroix Beaded T-Strap Pump
Yowza! is all I can say about this red and black Christian Lacroix Beaded T-Strap Pump. This shoes oozes of sex and glamour. The red and black combination is eye catching and so chic. The T-strap vamps up the shoes. I love love love the intricate beading detail on the front. Muy caliente and definitely a must for salsa dancing or club hopping with the girls.

      Christian Lacroix Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear
Here's Christian Lacroix' Fall 2008 RTW collection. I like the pink, black and cream combination of the second dress but then again, the colors combination that he used for some of the dresses are lovely. Although I really do not fancy that huge fur hood (5th picture) and fur outerwear -- if they are fur.

Evian Limited Edition by Christian Lacroix
Haute Couturiers designing water bottles? Did I miss something? Oh well, it's way awesome anyway...The story: Evian has released a Limited Edition set of designer water bottles (which they've apparently been doing for a few years now), to show dedication to the fashion industry. To celebrate winter, Lacroix has designed this gorgeous (and expensive) Haute Couture Ice Queen bottle, and a Ready-to-Wear version with a pretty pattern weaving on the outside.I don't think they'll be coming to Australia, but even if they did they'll be following in the U.S.'s footsteps and only stocking them in high-end supermarkets. Official prices are a little iffy, but these babies are sure to pop up on eBay sooner or later, for less than what they're worth, I assume. WTF Shoes by Christian Lacroix
I felt like I had to blog about these shoes because these are the strangest shoes I have ever seen! Seriously, Christian Lacroix what were you thinking (or smoking) when you let this design pass through to production? I am so scared of these shoes. It looks like an art and crafts drawer exploded on a piece of iridescent leather. So odd, so strange, so ... so destined for the sale rack. Don't you think?

      Eau Couture by Christian Lacroix
Every year French water company Evian launches special edition bottles, and this year’s are quite opulent. The limited edition bottles were designed by high end fashion design house, Christian Lacroix, and feature two versions. The “prêt-à-porter” bottle features a clear, classicly shaped European water bottle decorated with a detailed, highly sophisticated white pattern. The “haute-couture” version, on the other hand, doesn’t feature any printed art. Instead, it feature intricacies in the actual bottle design, the final product resembling an elaborate ice sculpture. Only 99 couture bottles were made and will be auctioned off for charity. The prêt-à-porter model can be purchased at high end grocery stores, fancy restaurants, and at upscale hotels beginning November. The 750 ml bottles are sure to become collector’s items. They’re expected to sell for between $5.99 and $9.99, depending on the venue. The first bottles of Lacroix Evian were spotted at the Christian Lacroi

Presenting: Fashion Week: Christian Lacroix S/S '08
Presenting: Paris Fashion Week: Christian Lacroix Spring/Summer 2008 CollectionSpring/Summer is all about splashes of colour and Christian Lacroix delivers just that! The collection is so vibrant, a true embodiment of Lacroix's signature carefree and fun style. In this collection, we see an interplay of flourescent, psychedelic prints, that act as a collage of sorts, that is created by swatches of different fabrics, colours and materials. Geometric shapes is also a key theme in Lacroix's S/S Collection for 2008 (see Cubic Bags below). Hm, it seems as if everyone's coming out with novel shapes and styles for bags! Yesterday, we saw the accordion-esque bag from Bottega Veneta, and today, it's the cubic bag with granny purse closure by Lacroix! Good to know that fashion is on the move once again! Finally we have different shapes as opposed to your standard Hobo, Satchel, Tote, Clutches and what-have-yous. I applaud the designers for daring to think outside of the box. The Verdict: Lov

New & Hot: Christian Lacroix for La Redoute
Christian Lacroix "Sevillane" Dress$199.99Available at: LaRedoute.comDesigner capsule collections are popping up at mass market retailers at steady pace and meeting with much success. The big three of the designer-meets-masses trend-- Target, Top Shop, and H&M-- have received tons of press, and for good reason. But, if you think these three retailers are the end all and be all of the designer capsule collection you are really missing out. The most under-rated purveyor of designer capsule collections is the affordable French retailer La Redoute and what they lack in media exposure they more than make up for in amazing collaborations. Where other retailers specialize in reformulating trendy boutique labels into full downmarket lines, La Redoute has concentrated on much smaller collections featuring original designs from the best of French Pret-a-Porter and Haute Couture.Christian Lacroix "Falbala" Trench$299.99Available at: LaRedoute.comWe featured the chic 6-piece Courreges for La R

      Christian Lacroix Haute Couture
No mínimo, fantástico. CHRISTIAN LACROIX is not a name one associates with austerity. To celebrate his twentieth year on the international fashion stage, many were expecting a technicolour blowout of monumental proportions - yet Lacroix’s genius doesn’t lie in traffic-stopping colour alone (although second onto the runway was, true to form, one multi-coloured, Russian-inspired, corset-style coat that turned every head in the audience). Against a stark white catwalk in a white room at the Palais de Tokyo Modern Art Museum, the sheer elaborate construction of Lacroix’s couture collection,

Christian Lacroix Polka Dot Mary Janes
Oh Lacroix shoes, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One, your whimsical polka-dots. Two, your red trim that provides a delicate but decidedly modern detail. Three, your 3.5″ heel that is neither too narrow, nor too chunky. Four, your semi-rounded toe, not too pointy, just enough to lend an air of vintage maturity to an otherwise playful shoe. I picked these up at the Christian Lacroix boutique in Caeser’s Palace in Las Vegas. These are one of the few pairs of couture shoes that I loved enough to pay full price for. Well, technically, my husband did. The trip was a half-business, half-pleasure. He was on set all day, and I was left to my own devices in the shops on the strip. I fell in love with these the moment I saw them, and that love only grew when I tried them on. I put them on hold, telling the salespeople that I had to check with my husband. I continued with my shopping for the day, all the while thinking of those shoes. I finally sent him a tex

Lacroix, You've been on my Mind
In light of recent events concerning Christian Lacroix, like the PETA streaker and Helen Mirren wearing a gorgeous Lacroix gown to the Oscars, I decided I just had to check out what he sent down the runway for Fall 2007. At first I was a little bored. I wasn't exactly bored with the clothes, but with the color scheme, if you can call all black a true color scheme. Then all of the sudden the ultra cute minis I was seeing before began to pop. The blacks and gun metals turned to electric blues and hot pinks. It was almost as if the skies were opening up after a gray snowy day. Even after the burst of bright, Lacroix continue the electric them with a bright yellow belt over a little black dress or a hot pink bow to make the cutest black shift dress pop.I absolutely adored the graphic prints on some of the more vibrant dresses. There is the cutest mini dress with a super deep v-neck and a drop waist. It reminded me of the female version of Peter Pan, and anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Pe
