      Kucinich: Why We Must Impeach
Dennis Kicinich laid his article on us today. He preceded it with a letter to his colleagues. You can read it here (pdf). Here is the important part: Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or with Al Qaeda's role in 9/11. Iraq had neither the intention nor the capability of attacking the United States. Iraq did not have weapons of Mass of Destruction. Yet George W. Bush took our troops to war under

When the House of Representatives voted to send Dennis Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment against George W. Kucinich Finally Realizes Edwards Cannot Be Trusted
The fifteen percent threshold rule in the Iowa caucus makes being the second choice of the supporters of other candidates an important factor in determining the ultimate winner. In 2004 Kucinich threw his support to John Edwards helping him come in second place, but it now looks like he won’t make that mistake again. I always found that decision strange considering that both Dean and Kerry were far closer to Kucinich’s position on the war and civil liberties issues than Edwards was. It took an article in The New York Times which did make some errors to finally convince Kucinich he was wrong. The article alleges that ““Mr. Kerry had increasing doubts about the war. But Mr. Edwards argued that they should not renounce their votes — they had to show conviction and consistency.” This is not entirely correct as Kerry had made it clear at the time of his vote for the IWR that he would only support going to war if we were proven to be threatened by WMD. Why the Media Hates Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich
Say the names Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul to the average American and you'll often hear a snicker, a laugh, and most likely, some derogatory statement. But why is that? It's not like Kucinich or Paul go around making bizarre comments, such as "the Constitution is just a piece of paper," or, "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family," or even, "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."No, neither Dennis Kucinich nor Ron Paul made any of those statements. Instead they get portrayed in the media as "crazy," "goofy," "reckless," or "a nutjob" for saying things like, "I think it's inconsistent to tell the American people that you oppose the war and, yet, you continue to vote to fund the war. Because every time you vote to fund the war, you're reauthorizing the war all over again"(Kucinich), or, "Cliches about supporting the troops are designed to distract from

Syria is a haven and known supplier of weaponry for insurgents who cross over an unchecked border into Iraq to fight US and coalition forces, a known contributor to several terrorist organizations, and known to have assassinated former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri. And, I'm sure we all know that Iran isn't exactly peaceful either, just Google 'Iran' and 'nuclear weapons'. Did Kucinich not get the memo? Two more Kookcinich sta

Dennis Kucinich and his Peace through Strength parable
As you know Dennis Kucinich' campaign slogan is the Jesus Christ-like paradox, "strength through peace." What you didn't know was that he only decided on his version of the WWJD bumper sticker after a long selection process. Asymmetric has acquired a list of the top five slogans rejected by the Kucinich campaign: 1. Width through height. 2. Losing weight through overeating. 3. Victory through surrender. 4. More efficient health care through government management. 5. Freedom through regulation.

Kucinich thinks all terrorists have cell phones-youtube video
Text peace to Bin Laden and Ahmadinejad and Sadr and the people who drill holes in people's heads right before cutting off their heads. Peace through strength that we promise we won't use. War is not the answer (unless you're terrorists and Democrats are in power and then it works fine)!

      Edwards vs. Clinton vs. Kucinich
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19814631/ This is a follow-up on what I wrote the other day. What this "debate" is going to consist of will probably be Edwards vs. Clinton for three quarters of the time, and DTMK preaching policy too liberal for everyone else.

Dennis Kucinich and Cindy Sheehan: Republicans’ New Hope for Winning the 2008 Presidential Election
The Democrats may have unleashed a hornet’s nest of harsh criticism that may be impossible to impede. This time the condemnation is not coming from Conservatives, but from the liberal lunatic base. Recently, after realizing that the Democrats only care about power, Cindy Sheehan announced the possibility of running against Nancy Pelosi for the House of Representatives in the next election. Sheehan conditioned her running on whether or not Nancy Pelosi impeaches George Bush and brings the soldiers home from Iraq. While this threat will never cause Nancy Pelosi to bend, it does have very important implications for the 2008 Presidential Election. Like Ralph Nader’s impact in the 2000 election, Sheehan and her supporters may stay home in 2008 or vote for an unelectable third candidate. Consequently, the Democrats will be forced to seek independent voters to come to their side, which often leads to disappointment. Moreover, this recent phenomenon with Sheehan and Pelosi is ve

Dennis "The Menace" Kucinich Strikes Again
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19750182 So here we go again... Dennis "The Menace" strikes again. Dennis Kucinich is apparently very upset that Sen. Hillary Clinton and Former Sen. John Edwards were overheard discussing the possibility of limiting the number of candidates at the Presidential Forums. Is it just me, or is this about the same as a Goldfish trying to tell everyone that it supports

Why is Dennis "The Menace" Kucinich running?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19505871/According to NBC News Dennis "The Menace" Kucinich has now replied to criticism that he's neglecting his job as the representative from the 10th district in Ohio.Apparently now he's going to be getting some serious competition in the Democratic primary from former ally in the political arena, Rosemary Palmer. This brought me to a thought. Democrat's Debate: Kucinich You Say?
So I just listened to the democrats debate at Howard University. Congressman Grader has the line of the evening, "None of the people on this stage have any moral authority."I'm tired of the lame duck politics and politicians. I can tell you now, I will be voting for either Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich...if either make it that far. ::gulp::Given the high probability that neither one will, I am left with few choices but you better believe of the choices I do have, they are democrats. Republicans should be relegated to our nation's outhouse for the next 60 years.

Kucinich Urges Colleagues to Find Will to End Occupation
Why oh Why do the DEMS need urging on this matter ?The Repugs got us into this mess. The DEMS will probably eventually bail us outafter what though ?More lives? How Many ?How much more money ?How many more years ?What if someone else actually attacks us ?What if we need all those resources here at homesay for a natural disaster like a HURRICANE ?Seems the responsible thing to do is get the hell out of there. After no WMD were found we should have apologized, gave them some money to help rebuild, then have left.It is abundantly clear most of the violence is sectarian, and the "terrorist" are just people that are pissed we are there in the first place. They wernt there before, so it is clear to me, there will be less of them if we leave. We have done nothing but damage and murder since the inception of this illegal war.The US now looks like a bunch of bungling idiots and bafoonsnot to mention torturers thief's and murderers. The people of the U.S. need an immediate cup of LatteTime to wake up

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Oh) moves to Impeach VP Dick Cheney
Dennis Kucinich will announce articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney. On what grounds?: “One, they misled the nation into war, an aggressive and illegal war that has obviously been catastrophic,” Park said. “They are currently violating the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act” by ordering wiretap warrants without FISA court approval and they are committing torture in violation of the Geneva Conventions. Same old story again, Bush lied people died. It doesn’t matter if everyone thought the intellegence was correct throughout the ’80’s and ’90’s. All that matters is revenge for President Clinton’s impeachment. If you want to have a trial for impeachment because the president is trying to protect the American people, I have only one thing to say: BRING IT ON

CQPolitics.com: Kucinich Delays Cheney Impeachment Event as Veep Visits DoctorExcerpt:"Kucinich — a longshot contender for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination who strongly opposes the Bush administration and the Iraq war — said in a statement, “News reports this morning indicate the vice president was experiencing a medical crisis. Until the vice president’s condition is clarified, I am placing any action on hold.”The reference to a “crisis” appears based on news reports early Tuesday that Cheney required emergency treatment for a chronic blood clot condition. These reports were later amended based on statements from the vice president’s office that the medical exam was routine."http://www.cqpolitics.com/2007/04/kucinich_delays_cheney_impeach.htmlAlex

      Dennis Kucinich
I havn't had the desire to go taco hunting lately. It may be the cold weather at night that is keeping me in. But it's also the fact that my friend the Fabulous Kiwi Simmons whom on occasions serves as my co-pilot has refused to join me on anymore taco journeys until I admit that Dennis Kucinich is a viable Presidential candidate. Oh and also..I have to stop calling him Dennis Kookinich. So

Kucinich: "All Bets Are Off" If Bush Attacks Iran
Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), a candidate for the Democratic nomination in 2008, recently stated that if President Bush attacks Iran, “all bets are off,” implying a possible push for impeachment. Raw Story has an exclusive report that a “leading bank warn[ed] investors of looming Iran strike in memo.” (No link just yet.) If President Bush expands the war by launching an attack on Iran, the impeachment debate would be completely altered, and not in the president’s favor.

      Kucinich is Running
This was hinted at in the comments, but here it is officially: Kucinich Launches Presidential Bid:Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich launched his second bid for president on Tuesday, a long-shot candidacy fueled by his frustration with his party's effort to end the Iraq war.Kucinich is almost guaranteed to be the most progressive candidate among the Democrats, and in turn is an extreme long-shot to win the primary. Jeralyn, over at Talk Left, asserts that Kucinich has the best record on criminal justice issues, which is definitely exciting. In turn, if Kucinich is taken seriously, he will do wonders for the primary campaign. Even as a long shot, he will still bring a progressive and liberal perspective to the table. he could force to conversation, which would be a very good idea

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH-10) on the Department of Peace:
"Mr. Speaker, yesterday a bill was introduced into the House of Representatives that gives the promise of transforming our country and the world. H.R. 808 creates a Department of Peace and Nonviolence. It is now supported by 52 Members of the House of Representatives, and it is supported by groups who yesterday came to Washington representing 45 States. Mr. Speaker, if you were to look at this clerk's desk, just around the corner you will see engraved right into the desk of the clerk of the House of Representatives the word ``peace.'' Peace is a foundational principle of this Congress and of this country, and the bill gives it a chance to have an animating power in our civic life by addressing...all of those concerns we have both domestically and internationally."--Feb. 6, 2007.

Dennis Kucinich Refused To Partake Secret Meeting With The House
Dennis Kucinich refused to partake the secret meeting that the House's members suggested to have one.  Dennis Kucinich thinks this secret meeting has to do with FISA.  Kucinich thinks this secret meeting has no benefit as it may cause more controversy than necessary.  Whatever is not so transparent, it's definitely a bad thing for a democracy.  The secret meeting makes us wonder about what will the House decides in secret.  Will the House finally succumb to Bush?  Will the House finally gives immunity to Telcos?
