The fifteen percent threshold rule in the Iowa caucus makes being the second choice of the supporters of other candidates an important factor in determining the ultimate winner. In 2004 Kucinich threw his support to John Edwards helping him come in second place, but it now looks like he won’t make that mistake again. I always found that decision strange considering that both Dean and Kerry were far closer to Kucinich’s position on the war and civil liberties issues than Edwards was. It took an article in The New York Times which did make some errors to finally convince Kucinich he was wrong.
The article alleges that ““Mr. Kerry had increasing doubts about the war. But Mr. Edwards argued that they should not renounce their votes — they had to show conviction and consistency.” This is not entirely correct as Kerry had made it clear at the time of his vote for the IWR that he would only support going to war if we were proven to be threatened by WMD. Instead of getting out of Iraq, we are getting in deeper," Kucinich said.Among other tidbits in the article, Kucinich promises to continue on his plan to impeach George Bush, and will add to his presidential campaign a line from the New Hampshire constitution that in part reads, "nonresistance (against power and repression) is...destructive of the good of all mankind."It's amazing that Kucinich and Ron Paul are the only two politicians with the guts to consistently stand up against George Bush (and the corrupt system in general), yet they are shot down by almost everyone. Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone is having a great day.I've found an interview with Dennis Kucinich, his wife, Elisabeth, and Howard Dean, taken from behind the scenes of the November 15th Nevada Democratic Debate. It's a short clip, under 4 minutes. Most of the piece is about encouraging the government to be the leader in creating clean fuels and new jobs around the green movement, but at approximately 3 minutes into the video a reporter asks Elisabeth Kucinich what her feelings are about a possible Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich ticket. Check out her response, and post your thoughts in our comments.
Say the names Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul to the average American and you'll often hear a snicker, a laugh, and most likely, some derogatory statement. But why is that? It's not like Kucinich or Paul go around making bizarre comments, such as "the Constitution is just a piece of paper," or, "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family," or even, "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."No, neither Dennis Kucinich nor Ron Paul made any of those statements. Instead they get portrayed in the media as "crazy," "goofy," "reckless," or "a nutjob" for saying things like, "I think it's inconsistent to tell the American people that you oppose the war and, yet, you continue to vote to fund the war. Because every time you vote to fund the war, you're reauthorizing the war all over again"(Kucinich), or, "Cliches about supporting the troops are designed to distract from

Syria is a haven and known supplier of weaponry for insurgents who cross over an unchecked border into Iraq to fight US and coalition forces, a known contributor to several terrorist organizations, and known to have assassinated former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri. And, I'm sure we all know that Iran isn't exactly peaceful either, just Google 'Iran' and 'nuclear weapons'. Did Kucinich not get the memo? Two more Kookcinich sta
As you know Dennis Kucinich' campaign slogan is the Jesus Christ-like paradox, "strength through peace." What you didn't know was that he only decided on his version of the WWJD bumper sticker after a long selection process. 2. Losing weight through overeating.
3. Victory through surrender.
4. More efficient health care through government management.

Text peace to Bin Laden and Ahmadinejad and Sadr and the people who drill holes in people's heads right before cutting off their heads. Peace through strength that we promise we won't use. War is not the answer (unless you're terrorists and Democrats are in power and then it works fine)!

This is a follow-up on what I wrote the other day. What this "debate" is going to consist of will probably be Edwards vs. Clinton for three quarters of the time, and DTMK preaching policy too liberal for everyone else.
The Democrats may have unleashed a hornet’s nest of harsh criticism that may be impossible to impede. This time the condemnation is not coming from Conservatives, but from the liberal lunatic base. Recently, after realizing that the Democrats only care about power, Cindy Sheehan announced the possibility of running against Nancy Pelosi for the House of Representatives in the next election. Sheehan conditioned her running on whether or not Nancy Pelosi impeaches George Bush and brings the soldiers home from Iraq. While this threat will never cause Nancy Pelosi to bend, it does have very important implications for the 2008 Presidential Election. Like Ralph Nader’s impact in the 2000 election, Sheehan and her supporters may stay home in 2008 or vote for an unelectable third candidate. Consequently, the Democrats will be forced to seek independent voters to come to their side, which often leads to disappointment. Moreover, this recent phenomenon with Sheehan and Pelosi is ve

On what grounds?:
“One, they misled the nation into war, an aggressive and illegal war that has obviously been catastrophic,” Park said. “They are currently violating the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act” by ordering wiretap warrants without FISA court approval and they are committing torture in violation of the Geneva Conventions.
Same old story again, Bush lied people died. It doesn’t matter if everyone thought the intellegence was correct throughout the ’80’s and ’90’s. All that matters is revenge for President Clinton’s impeachment.
