Op het zakje stond dat het heel moeilijk zou zijn deze noten te kraken en ze wensten je er veel sterkte mee, wat zag ik trouwens pas zag toen ik thuis was ;-). Nou had ik ooit (maar nooit weer) de pijnboompitten zelf gekraakt, dus het leek me niet zo moeilijk. Maar wat een knetterharde noten zijn dit zeg! De notenkraker wilde helemaal het niet eens proberen, blokkeerde meteen bij de eerste poging en met de hamer moest ik echt diverse keren hard slaan, voor ze zich overgaven. Maar gewoon niet opgeven en uiteindelijk zijn ze allemaal gekraakt. Op internet las ik zelfs dat dit de hardste noten ter wereld zijn en dat ze daarom vrijwel alleen zonder dop te koop zijn.
