Akon lands his second No. 1 Hot 100 hit on the album "Konvicted" as "Don't Matter" jumps 3-1 on the chart, where it is the fastest growing track at radio for a fifth week. The song follows "I Wanna Love You," which held No. 1 for two weeks in December. Another track from the album, "Smack That," peaked at No. 2 in November after making what was then the largest jump (95-7) in the history of the Hot 100.That distinction now belongs to Beyonce and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar," which rockets 94-3 thanks to digital sales of 150,000 copies. The track comes from a new edition of Beyonce's "B-Day" album, due April 3.Last week's Hot 100 No. 1, Fergie's "Glamorous," falls to No. 2, while Mims' former chart-topper "This Is Why I'm Hot" drops 2-4. Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold" featuring Patrick Stump is down 4-5, while Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon slides 5-6. Akon's 'Konvicted' Certified Double PlatinumThe RIAA has certified SRC/Universal Motown's global superstar Akon's sophomore album Konvicted, double platinum.
