To test typing speeds on mobile device keyboards, I usually take one of the 3-minute tests available at TypingTest.com. Since no one would want to sit through three minutes of me typing (even watching a pot of water come to a boil is more interesting than that!), I took and recorded a one-minute test instead.

I'm going to make a video intro to the Kohjinsha SH6 later today but before I do, let me get something off my chest. At the top of the list of my first impressions of the SH6 (that I bought with my own money because I felt confident about the McCaslin platform) is, unfortunately, a very negative comment. Its something that is annoying the hell out of me and makes me wonder if Intel have enough control on their UMPC ecosystem partners because this issue should never have happened. The problem is battery life. This is a device using second-gen UMPC-focused Intel silicon and the new low-power Samsung 1024x600 LED-backlit screen and a device that follows in the footsteps of its 4-hour AMD-based older brother, the SA1. Its a device that you expect to have at least 3 hour battery life and yet, even with its 3-cell battery, its only a 2-hour device. What's going on? Building a PC based on a 600Mhz power-optimized CPU means you're at least considering battery life'but to end up with a dev
Kohjinsha 7-inch Touchscreen UMPC: "Here’s a slick looking new UMPC for Korea, it’s the Kohjinsha SA Plus. You’ll get, 512MB memory, a 100GB HDD and Bluetooth.. The 4.5 hour battery life in power saving mode is not so great, and reaches 80% charge in one hour. Starting at around $1,000 USD, this thing has a much larger hard drive than Fujitsu’s new UMPC, and basically has all the same specs. (Via Ministry of Tech.)
Where do i start ? Let's call it a ultra-mobile PC. It's practically a mini-laptop, if you consider the components : 1gb of RAM and an 80gb HDD. It also has an AMD processor and Integrated Bluetooth 2.0, wifi, SD/SDIO/MMC memory card slot. Like wow. Now you can be connected and portable anywhere. I personally like the screen :source
