West Knoxville’s oldest Scots-Irish church, Erin Presbyterian, off Lockett Rd at Kingston Pike, near Papermill Drive, celebrates 130 years of preaching the Gospel today. It was chartered on Sunday September 30, 1877 and was originally situated where Kingston Pike meets Northshore Road.‘Erin’ is the old Irish name for Ireland and means ‘the beautiful isle.’ The current pastor of the church is native Scotsman Rev. John Stuart. He has been preaching to the congregation in his Scottish brogue for the past twelve years. ‘Jackass’ star Johnny Knoxville, 36, filed for divorce today in a Los Angeles County court. Johnny and his wife Melanie have been married 12 years and have daughter Madison, 11, together. Johnny wants joint custody and will pay support.
The couple announced their separation back in February.

Was met at the door by my assistant, Knoxville, who was uncharacteristically animated as he proceeded to tell me of a conversation he had with his sister the nurse. That guy I saw outside a restaurant the other day who was at once screaming into his cell phone about a golf game AND wearing Oakley blade sunglasses. Then we went outside and laughed at his license plate while he watched from the bar. We had some REALLY good crabcakes for lunch and then went to the International Spy Museum. We almost had to beg her for more drinks, and my mom had to wait 20 minutes to pay the bill! Might I add, that we were in such a rush that we forgot to get change for the parking meter!?!! While we were there, something unexpected happened: they were very hesitant to believe we were Greek.
