The BMW Sauber test and reserve driver, Christian Klien, is to race in the American Le Mans series in the ‘Petit Le Mans’ endurance event in October.

Christian Klien has been given a second fortuity of grabbing a strength India race-seat when the team invited him to test at Jerez in December.
Klien took part in a pair-day test attending the team, anciently Spyker, at Barcelona last week where he put the team’s fastest lap time.

Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi and Austrian Christian Klien will squeeze their claims for a return to the Formula individual starting grid whenever they test for strength India in Spain nearest week.
The Indian-owned team, formerly Spyker, declared in a specification ward Saturday that the pair racers would annex German driver Adrian Sutil at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya ward November 14 and 15.
Dutch test driver Giedo van der Garde and youthful Spaniard Roldan Rodriguez will open the test for the Ferrari-powered team ward November 13.
Liuzzi raced for Red male in 2005 before switching to sister team Toro Rosso for the past pair seasons.

Christian Klien reckons the Spyker has good potential after his first run for the Dutch team in yesterday’s Spa test. Christian Klien will test for the Spyker team on Thursday at Spa-Francorchamps tomorrow, but the team says that no decision has yet been made about who will drive for the team for the rest of the season. Klien has been released by Honda for the test.
There were rumours in Indianapolis that Christian Klien may have signed a long term deal to drive for Toyota. Honda sources say that they have not been approached about releasing the young Austrian but confim that he is a free agent at the end of the current season.
The suggestion, coming from Austrian sources - which are not always 100% reliable - is that Klien could be the man who will replace Ralf Schumacher in the team next year, driving alongside Jarno Trulli.
