This version has 3G wireless speed in comparison to its predecessor's slower EDGE connection which is 2G. The new 3G iPhone comes in two versions; an 8 GB model with a black backing and a 16 GB model with a white backing. The 3G Apple iPhone is set to release July 11, 2008.

After it was suggested that pictures of Steve Jobs delivering the WWDC 2008 keynote speech show the Apple CEO looking a little peaked, Apple has commented on the matter, saying that Jobs recently had a “common bug.” Whether that explanation will stop further speculation about Jobs’ health is another question entirely.
