I thought it was a known fact that buying dogs in a pet store was bad news. I mean, I can’t be the only person who has heard that the only breeders who would give up their dogs to pet stores are puppy mills who overbreed their dogs and don’t care about the animals at all, they are only worried about dollar signs. It is not about getting an inferior dog from a pet store (although you are), it is about not wanting to participate in buying from puppy mills. By buying that puppy from Bel Air Pets, Katharine might as well say “I don’t care about this dogs background or that the dam that is stuck in a tiny cage somewhere unable to play or live because she is always being bred”. I have read so many sad websites about the truth behind pet store puppies and the mills they come from. Of course store owners are going to tell you what you want to hear, that this puppy was raised on a farm somewhere with happy parents that are only bred once or twice in their lives. D
