Excelente noticia. Cómo me gustan los grupos que hacen los deberes rápido y sacan discos al mercado con asididad. No quiero decir que esa sea la manera en la que deberían trabajar todos, pero sí es de agradecer, aunque en ocasiones la incontinencia creativa va en detrimento de la calidad musical.

A banda já foi comparada ao Primal Scream, por misturar indie rock/eletrônico e as bandas Oasis e Stone Roses, pelo timbre do vocalista Tom Meighan. Pre-release hubbub might have you thinking Kasabian's debut is the Stone Roses' firstborn all over again, or that it's a Screamadelica for its generation. Almost, but these lads could use one more spin around the U.K.'s hippest clubs to really polish their craft to Madchester-in-its-prime level. What their debut succeeds in providing is
Domestic badasses are usually pretty one-dimensional. From the musclebound Joe Weider plank snapper to the wizened loose-cannon drunk or the free-swinging pro athlete, they're just different versions of the same uninteresting dolt. That's why English louts often seen more interesting to us Americans than our homegrown ones. Buoyed by football, illicit drugs, and lager-- or the remnants of mid-90s lad culture in general-- these types often take an elemental approach to bad behavior. They integrate torrents of entertaining drunk speak into fistfights both won and lost; they're boastful, prideful, or just plain full. They're going to live fast and die young, but not until after the kebab shops close. Kasabian is the latest UK outfit to tap into this bravado conduit, and as they've shown over singles ranging back to the beginning of 2004 (all of which appear on this self-titled debut LP), the Leicester combo likes their hedonism a la carte. Kasabian performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 29, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.The group got the packed crowd standing for the entirety of their set at the prestigious all-seated venue.Taking the stage, the band launched into instrumental 'Brown Acid' and then, having been joined by singer Tom Meighan, 'Shoot The Runner'.Kasabian were visibly excited to be performing in the auspicious surroundings, with Meighan telling the crowd: "It's so fucking surreal, it's fantastic!"The singer was in a jovial mood all evening, even at one point joking the Queen was in attendance, saying: "Hello Ma'am!
