It’s a film that’s been so “on again - off again” that it’s starting to resemble my love life. Ok, that’s more like “off again” more than anything else. However, this current story arc had better not turn out to be nothing more than an advertisement and jumping off point for Salvation Run. I’m getting tired of the JLA being reduced to nothing more than a jumping off point for stories to be delivered on titles outside of the JLA. Justice League of America continues to be nothing more than an average read. Considering that this title is DC’s flagship team title, I have higher expectations than I would for your average comic book. I am surprised that DC is content with their premier super team being such a run of the mill product. Maybe Burnett and McDuffie can crank it up with Justice League of America #18 and get this title rolling in a positive fashion. El próximo 28 de enero de 2008 estará a la venta en DVD la película animada Justice League: New Frontier.
Está inspirada en el comic DC:New Frontier, la película unirá las era de oro del comic con la era de Plata.
El la Golden Age, vimos el surgimiento de los heroés clásicos como Superman y Batman y en la la Silver Age, aparecieron las nuevas versiones de Green Lantern y Flash, entre otros.
Podremos ver la forma en que nuevos heroés descubren sus poderes, deciden que hacer con ellos, y comienzan a descubrir que no están solos en el mundo.
La película estará centrada en 3 héroes, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Flash (Barry Allen) y Martian Manhunter (Jonn Jonzz). Superman, Batman y Wonder Woman aparecerán, al igual que muchos otros heroés aun no revelados.

I don’t know whose the genius was behind the assignment of “Happy Feet’s” director to the upcoming Justice League flick. According to Obsessed With Film, casting directors have been hired in New York, Toronto and Vancouver, which seems to be confirmed in the listings of industry website Showfax. To some fans, the Justice League is the pinnacle of the DC Comics franchise where the greatest comic-book legends unite in order to deliver justice wherever it is needed. But with the JLA making its way to the big screen, fans have been desperate to know if the project will have any connection to the pre-existing Batman and Superman franchises which are already hits at the box office.
It looks like there will be a few nods to those universes, but according to IESB, both Christian Bale and Brandon Routh are out of the running for the project and producers are looking towards a slightly younger team to take on the roles of Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent. Today Justice League of America #12 came out and with its release ended Brad Meltzer’s run on the book. When I first heard he and artist Ed Benes were relaunching the book after the God awful Infinite Crisis I was excited mostly due to Meltzer’s previous DC work, Identity Crisis. Issue 0 was mostly about situations from the past and potential situations of the future for the League and seeing what could happen made me impatient for this run to begin.
Issues 1-6 were entitled The Tornado’s Path, as Red Tornado successfully became human but it turns out it was all a set up by Solomon Grundy and his cohorts. The story had it’s fair share of action, but the big three (Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman) spent a lot of time deciding on members (most of which never even join).
