Commission Junction is what they call a "pay-per-action" advertiser whereas other companies like Google Adsense are pay-per-click. It rained heavily this morning. I was contemplating staying at home to catch up with my beauty sleep but since I’m taking 5 days leave next week for Bali, I had to leave the house regretfully. I realized recently it's been almost twenty years since I became vegetarian. I don’t remember exactly when or even why I stopped eating dead animals -- the decision was partly ethical (how can I eat them if I'm not willing to kill them?), partly health-related, and partly because I just lost the taste for them. The process happened slowly, starting with a gradual phasing out of flesh, then eliminating the consumption of fowl, and finally doing away with fish and other seafood (hence the "3 F's" in the title). Eggs, dairy products and honey remain in my diet, so I’m not a vegan, but my general rule is that I don’t eat anything that once had a face or a mother.It’s not a big deal to be vegetarian any more. After signing up for a publisher account all you have to do is decide how many links you want to display and how much you want to charge, then copy and paste a small snippet of HTML code to your template that will handle ad serving, billing and sales. While you're waiting for an advertiser to purchase a link you can choose to display network ads which you are paid per click at a price defined by Adbrite. In my post Commission Junction Revisited I stated that one of the reasons I wasn't making any money with Commission Junction was that I was trying to promote too many products.
