Ecco una simpatica applicazione costituita da un unico file in Flash che va a rimpiazzare un centinaio di file del software originale. Joost Flash Mashup è un sito web che incorpora un file Flash che permette di guardare la Tv libera e open-source di Joost senza scaricare alcun software. L’applicazione, spiega il creatore, si basa sul XUL Runner engine di Mozilla. El cofundador de Joost ha declarado a la prensa en Rumanía que se podrá acceder a la versión final de Joost sin invitacion antes de fin de año. También dijo que tienen el apoyo de varios anunciantes potentes de los que conseguirán fondos para mejorar la operatividad de su sistema.   Buscarán evitar caídas como las sufridas por la versión beta ante la gran demanda de invitaciones que provocaron el colapso de los servidores.

Con más de un millón de registrados, pronto se podrá acceder a Joost sin necesidad de invitación. Al menos eso ha declarado el co-fundador de Joost a la prensa en Rumanía, donde también anunció que el servicio de televisión ha firmado varios contratos con anunciantes de "primera línea", y que el servicio "estará listo para finales de año". Esperemos que con esta nueva inyección de capital consigan crear un servicio robusto y estable en el que los servidores mantengan el tipo incluso en los picos de audiencia.
