      Rodriguez to direct The Jetsons?
      After the financially disappointing Grindhouse, Robert Rodriguez is now looking forward to the future and is deciding between two projects. Firstly, he’s in talks with Warner Bros. Pictures about making a live-action version of hit 60s cartoon The Jetsons. For anyone who’s too young to remember, The Jetsons are like a future version of The Flintstones. On the other foot, he’s in discussion with Universal about making another TV-series-cum-movie, Land of the Lost. This one was from the 70s and was about a Dr. Who-esque tale of an alternate world with dinosaurs and hostile alien creatures. Will Ferrell has signed on to star, so… who knows what kind of tone they’re going for with this one.The Hollywood Reporter’s sources are saying that the Jetsons will most likely be the victor as the script is far more developed at this stage.
