Jet Airways Gulf, Middle East and North Africa general manager Abraham Joseph said the immediate priority was to launch world-class services from Bahrain when it begins operations on January 5."We are starting off with a flight a day to Mumbai and Kochi, from Bahrain, both of which will be non-stop operations," said Mr Joseph."The 14 flights every week will operate state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft, in the configuration of 124 economy and 16 business class seats."Mr Joseph was addressing the media during a luncheon organised at The Kebab Factory, Jawad Dome, in Barbar.

Jet Airways (India) Limited expects to sell 300 tour packages and 500 air tickets with the launch of the Incredible India Travel Fair. The fair, which is a joint effort by Jet Airways and India Tourism, will feature tour packages and standalone air tickets to India at special rates. Jet Airways regional vice-president Gerry Oh said that the fair, which will be held from Sept 11-13, is expected to attract some 2,000 visitors.

Jet Airways India Ltd has informed that with an objective to cater to the large number of NRIs and the Gujarati community, the Company is pleased to announce the introduction of its new international flight between Ahmedabad and London Heathrow with two flights per week effective April 03, 2007. This will be enhanced to three flights per week from May, 2007.Ahmedabad will be the fourth city in India which will be linked with London Heathrow by the Company following receipt of regulatory approvals from the Government of India.
