Up until the Illusionist, I pretty much lumped Biel into the Jessica Alba/Kate Bosworth group of pretty faces who can’t really act. But she was great in this movie and was actually able to hold a scene with the always talented Edward Norton. I liked this movie better than the other 19th century magician-based mystery film that came out in 2006, The Prestige, and Biel was a part of that reason.
