Panasonic Toyota is aggressively working things out for the 2008 season. With several alterations in their team, Jarno Trulli and the rest of the team are all set to face the odds in the upcoming 2008 Formula One World Championship and wish to have a great season ahead.
According to Motor Sport, Panasonic Toyota Racing concluded the 2007 season with the final test of the year at Jerez in Spain several days ago."We tried to achieve many things today so it was quite busy for me. I used the new slick tyres and they gave a lot more grip and were pretty consistent. We also tried the tyres with 2009 levels of downforce which was quite different and a bit tricky. It was not easy to understand everything because we tried so many different things during the day,” says Jarno Trulli.

Córdoba, once a Roman town and later the capital of the Caliphate, today shows evidence of its past glories in the Mezquite (mosque) which was adorned with over a thousand marble columns and red and gold decorations. Unfortunately, later Catholic kings ruined the general effect by erecting a grossly overdecorated altar in the very centre, to the glory of God, but to the fury of local citizens. The town has grown steadily in size from a population of 8,000 in the seventeenth century to its present size of 775,870, and there are many factories manufacturing electrical fitments, bronze, aluminium and copper products, cement and chemicals. Industries based on local agriculture include fruit preserving, and the making of paper from straw. Granada, the last stronghold of the Moors, still contains the Alhambra and other Moorish buildings, and is the centre of an exceptionally rich agricultural area. All varieties of Mediterranean and many tropical crops are grown by means of irrigation from
Lewis Hamilton had to surrender his top-ranking rookie status to Robert Kubica at Jerez today after the Pole laid down a blazing lap time to easily top the standings.
And youth triumphed over experience on a day when the best performance Michael Schumacher could muster was a mere eighth, some seven-tenths of a second behind the leader and to the rear of a man who has not yet driven a F1 car in anger - Nelson Piquet Jr.
Maybe it would have been safe to let him have a go on the same circuit as Raikkonen after all. Although, if a post-test statement by Red Bull is to be believed (see below) it was all down to tyres anyway.
We mention this because another veteran who may have been wistfully recalling an earlier test was Red Bull’s David Coulthard.
From second place in the standings yesterday, just a whisper behind that young pup Hamilton, in a far inferior car, he had to put up with 17th today.
However he probably wasn’t half as wistful as Ralf Schumacher, testing for Force In

Jerez is situated midway between the sea and the mountains, offering some fabulous cuisine ranging from the freshest seafood to hearty peasant fare like berza (chickpea and sausage stew) and puchero (chicken vegetable soup). It is cattle rearing area and the Rabo de toro (braised ox tail) and Riñones al Jerez (kidneys cooked in sherry) are quite delicious. Traditional fish dishes from the region include pescado frito (a selection of fried dogfish, cuttlefish, baby squid or shrimp). In the summer months there try the local gazpacho made with local produce and in the winter Jerez produces a heartier, thicker variation served hot called ajo campero (country garlic, tomato, pepper, garlic and wheat).
If you are visiting Jerez out of season (late November to March) take a drive out to one of the small country restaurants (ventas) on the outskirts of the city to sample some great traditional food and mosto (grape juice removed from the sherry making process where the alcohol content is much
