There are so many aspects to loss. In this area I’m not very good at knowing what I’m feeling let alone expressing it or sharing it with others. My grief is pretty well buried, at least for now. But losing Isaac means so many things to me in my day-to-day life. Towards the end, I spent my time only in rooms that Isaac was in so we could be together. He could only barely drag himself onto his feet on a good day so we didn’t move around the house too much. He only dragged himself to his feet if I tried to quickly run off and use the bathroom only to discover that he was so motivated to find me that I couldn’t pee and get back fast enough for him. Otherwise, Jim and I were always there to help him to his feet and guide him to wherever he wanted to go.

Well some good news in the financial sector; Fair Isaac Corporation, best known to most of us as the source of FICO credit scores, Tuesday announced it will be adjusting it’s credit scoring standards to take into account the common practice of credit ‘boosting‘. It will no longer take into account an authorized user status when determining your credit score.

An authorized user is a person permitted by a credit account holder to use an account, typically a family member who is managing credit for the first time. Used legitimately, authorized user account information has helped both lenders and consumers by enabling lenders to use FICO scores when making credit decisions for consumers who are starting to establish a credit history. Fair Isaac’s research indicates that the next version of its FICO scoring formula will deliver increased predictive power without considering authorized user accounts.

Though Isaac Mizrahi has been traveling around in a wheelchair all of fashion week, it didn't stop him from showing one of my favorite collections. This may be my biased opinion, but when I saw the collection I swooned. I love the floral pattern he used on some of his pieces, I also love the butter yellow color, though I'm not sure if I could pull it off. As usual there was tons of gray and black pieces. I'm sure my mom will be thrilled she loves gray. I think many of the colors in his fabrics were fairly springy though. There were lots of pastels including the butter yellow I talked about. All I have to say is "Clap for him, clap for him."The only pieces I wasn't truly smitten over were the feathery pieces and the gray onesie.I've actually seen a couple of onesies come down the runways, and I can honestly say "thumbs down."
