The flight here was pretty uneventful as I slept halfway through the whole flight after watching the in-flight movie “Get Smart” with Steve Carell which was a great movie. [...]

Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd. (THAI), the country's flag carrier, opposes the idea of reinstating Bangkok's former Don Muang airport --now serving airliners for domestic routes -- as another international airport to ease traffic congestion at Suvarnabhumi international airport. THAI president Apinan Sumanaserani said Suvarnabhumi international airport -- which celebrates its first anniversary of commercial opening September 29 -- is busy during heavy traffic only. In fact, the airport could easily cater to some 60-70 million passengers annually without problems, he said. His comments were made after many suggestions were offered that not less than 45 million passengers would use Suvarnabhumi yearly and that the airport was now reaching full capacity so there is a need to make Don Muang another international airport to ease traffic congestion there. The number of passengers would remain unchanged even after redesignating Don Muang as an additional international airport w

Real estate players are soon to get a next prospect to jostle one another. It is regarding none other than the proposed second international airport at Greater Noida. The development is likely to give a push to prices of residential and commercial property projects in twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida.
However, the drive may force prospective investors to divert their attention from Gurgaon to Noida in the long term, observes Mr Ankur Srivastava, managing director, DTZ India, a real estate consultancy firm.
For the past few months, there has been no major real estate transaction or development in Noida and Greater Noida. One of the major reasons behind the scene is ongoing political upheaval in the state. The conditions are expected to improve soon, with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh responding positively to the request of the new chief minister for giving a nod to a Rs 15,000 crore development package for the state's infrastructure.

Since returning to work last year, nearly everything has some incidents. In my last trip to Bangkok, when I flew back, something hillarious happened. After landed in KLIA, when all of us rushed up the escalator to the arrival floor, we found that we were trapped behind a locked door.More and more people jammed up behind the door, and the escalator kept sending more people. The small room soon was packed with travelers. The escalator is one-way, so we couldn't go anywhere else. Some passengers knocked the glass door, hopefully the passed by security guards could notice us. Well, they did, but they just nodded and walked away (??!!). As it was late at night, the airport was quite empty and quiet, no other people noticed us. Everyone was upset and angry. Finally, a young boy, about 9 or 10 years, saw us while he was licking his ice cream. His jaw dropped, eye widely opened, and then started laughing - as if looking at a bunch of idiots in a zoo.And the laugh somehow infected all of
