Though I am a Christian, as the following poem states, this does not mean, by any stretch of the imagination that I am in any way perfect. Apparently Denise Richards' life of collecting alimony and contemplating posing for Playboy is so busy that she requires a full staff to function. To Denise, it's an issue of integrity. Much to our surprise, she managed to utter the w

Living in NY we have a number of choices for daily newspapers -Newsday is very Long Island centricThe NY Times is the epitome of a liberal propaganda ragThe Village Voice is a decent paper (though they go beyond the Times on some issues), but doesn't really cover sportsWhich leaves, outside of the very small independents, the NY Post and the Daily News. Both of these papers are called 'tabloids' due to the sensational nature of their content, headlines and reporting. No paper is worse, however, than the NY Daily News. It should therefore come as no surprise when today's headlines read: "A-Roid?"The News is referring to allegations in Jose 'Money-Grubbing Scumbag' Canseco's new book that somehow tie A-Rod to steroids. We all knew Canseco was going to try and bring A-Rod into the steroid fing

How to create virtual switch on HP-UX Integrity sever:
On Itanium server running HP-UX 11i v2 if you have Integrity VM software installed then you can create and run virtual machines to run HP-UX. Most important step while you are planning to run HP-UX on guest virtual machine is to plan and create virtual switches. It's is best to use the separate lan card to run the virtual machines so you can have better manage network traffic between HP-UX host and HP-UX guest operating system. For example if you are planning to create two virtual machines (VM's) on the Integrity Itanium HP-UX machine then make sure you use individual network card's for each VM.
Scan for the lan card and connect the network cable for individual network cards. Let 's say you are planning to create two virtual switch

Personal Integrity, I never gave it much thought, as it is difficult enough to get by on my own, never mind worry about how I come across to others. Its quite liberating to say to one’s self “I don’t care what you think about me” and to go about life free of judgment, however there is a fine line between lifting social anxiety and smothering one’s self in egocentric selfishness. I have seen the path of “healing oneself” trample loved ones on the way, and I wonder how heightened spiritual awareness becomes an excuse for treating others as only by-products of one’s life. Quite often friends become secondary characters placed on the earth for the sole purpose of teaching the “enlightened” one lessons. Although freeing oneself from the personal drama that enslaves us does p
Oh no, that evil consumer advocate Ralph Nader just entered the Presidential race! You know who he is....the only politician in America that's running because of his or her ego because we all know Obama, McCain, and even Hillary Clinton don't have an ego...Time for a snap back into reality Democrats.First let's debunk the myth that Democrats have been perpetuating since 2000 that Nader "spoiled" the 2000 election for Al Gore and "handed" it to George W. Bush. It's simple and it goes like this...Every American citizen has the right to run for President, and no candidate is ever entitled to your vote. So the question remains... Why did 97,000 voters in Florida decide to vote for Nader? We don't know, but I can probably bank on the fact that they agreed with Nader more than Gore or Bush. S

If you want to take the meaning of the word integrity and reduce it to its simplest terms, you'd conclude that a man of integrity is a promise keeper. When he gives you his word. You can take it to the bank. His word is good….Bill McCartneyCan you depend on your word, to yourself?Kierkegaard once wrote a book about a kind of integrity that he titled, "Purity of Heart is to Will One Thing". An ancient philosopher focused his wisdom around this integrity with the advice, "Know yourself, and to your own self, be true." Read more about an advanced definition of integrity, at this page

In a never ending quest to minimize their relevance in the coming age, CBS has been running a segment called Primary Questions where:
CBS News anchor Katie Couric asked the 10 leading presidential candidates 10 questions designed to go beyond politics and show what really makes them tick.
Of course, the definition for the term “leading” is forever changing to suit the whims of the elitists who like to assume that they still control the information flow.
So who does CBS, in their infinite wisdom, deem the leading candidates are?
For one, they don’t think the candidate who has raised more money than any of the other Republican candidates is considered “leading”.
They also don’t think the candidate whose supporters have put a historic blimp up in the sky is considered “leading”.
The candidate who wins all of the post Republican debate polls is obviously not a leading candidate either.
They also don’t think that a candidate who is ahea

Loyalty and integrity are rare and precious personality traits in a modern-day footballer. Justin Hoyte seems like a young man blessed with both.
The England U21 right-back has had a tough time at club level this season, making only three starts for Arsenal so far, none of which have been in the Premiership. Hoyte ended last season as the club’s second-choice right-back and despite Emmanuel Eboue’s conversion to the right side of midfield has remained nothing more than a backup after to the signing of French defender Bacary Sagna who, somewhat surprisingly, has been nothing short of outstanding since his arrival from Auxerre.
Despite Hoyte’s difficult situation, the English defender has shown great maturity by indicating that he is prepared to stay and fight for his position at Arsenal rather than moving to a smaller Premiership club that would surely guarantee first-team football.
“Of course I want to stay at the club and fight. I want to be an Arsenal p
US scientists have successfully managed to 'engineer' a line of mice that display remarkable physical prowess and ability. In some English newspapers, it was referred to as "The Mouse that Shook the World", and of course, many have termed it Mighty Mouse.Being scientists, we have no problem with that, and the achievement of the scientists, led by Professor Richard Hanson, in creating the mice by injecting a gene for an enzyme called PEP-CK is a remarkable one (we won't go into the details here). But what is unfortunate is how the scientific and journalistic integrity of exercise science and physiology was then compromised by what can only be described as very bad and very scientifically inaccurate attempts to translate this information for the public, by both the scientists and the media. Now, we have no issue with this - we feel very strongly at The Science of Sport that complex science should be 'packaged' in a more easy to understand, entertaining form, but unfortunately, what P

Well it’s been a bit since I last wrote, but with good reason. I have been absolutely slaving away on two different projects of mine and for the last two nights I have been up past 2 A.M. For me that’s pretty darn late, considering I like to get up in the morning and get started right away.
Whatever you do you will always encounter something in your way when trying to finish up a project. This time it was a software program that I had purchased to integrate into my website. At initial glance it looked as if the WYSIWYG software would integrate quite well making my nights work end even quicker than I had anticipated. Upon getting the program and trying to get it implemented the programmer noticed that it just wasn’t going to jive. The thing that got us into the mess was that the initial landing page may have been just a tad misleading, meaning I was the .01% of users that the program would not work for. Hey it has to be someone, right?
Well I was a little disapp
I was recently contacted and asked to review and comment on a new US products and services information web directory. The site is a mini-encyclopedia of information on products and services, consumer reports, US governmental agency resources and more. Each topic link on the opening page directory leads to an overview of the item followed by links for further infomation.
Here’s my take on the site. The user-interface is easy to read, simple to navigate. The overview contained in each topic is both informative and enjoyable to read. Most importantly, ChosenSites.us does not accept submissions or direct advertising. The search engine utilized is done without any advertising client modifications or enhancement.
The integrity factor is high. That means a lot to me. This is a change for those of us who attempt to research goods and services online. You know how you do a search, click on a link only to find out it’s a splog or a site sponsored by one company masquerading as a tru
Electoral College Chaos in California By Hank EdsonBack in June, I posted an article entitled, “Campaign Issue: Targets in the Electoral College,” in which I wrote, “ As 2008 approaches, the Democratic nominee should make scrapping the electoral college a campaign issue.” I lamented that “[w]hat was once the key to building a democratic union has today become a means of isolating the weakest link by the anti-democratic ideologues that have taken over the Republican Party.” That’s the reason the Bush campaign was able to steal the presidency first in Florida in 2000 and again in Ohio in 2004. While writing these thoughts I was anticipating that yet another battle ground state would become the shame of the nation in the next election. The Republican Party would rape Pennsylvania or Michigan of its political process integrity in 2008. Perhaps this prediction will come true. In the mean time, however, a new development has arisen
If there is one man, just one, that I could be like... I'd have to say I would want to be like Job. There's many, many, many men that I esteem throughout the Scriptures. Hosea... wow, what grace and mercy! Enoch... to have the intimacy with God that he had... David... to be labeled a man after God's own heart... Ehud... to be used by God no matter what label society places on you. The list goes on and on.But if I had a choice of 1 person to be like, it would be Job.I shared with you from Job 1:8 at the beginning of the week. But think about it, his integrity is what kept him from falling. It's what protected him.Just listen to what his wife had to say to him in Job 2:9: "His wife said to him, 'Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.'" The person closest to him, his wife, wanted him to throw in the towel. To even give up his integrity. The enemy knows if he can steal our integrity... if he can get us to give up that defense/guard, then he has us right wh
I think Integrity and Excellence go hand in hand. Let me explain what I mean. When I speak of "excellence", I do not mean, in any way, perfectionism. Perfectionism, when taken to the extreme, can really mess up your life. Striving for excellence, on the other hand, can be life-giving and fruit-bearing. So what does excellence have to do with integrity?Well, if you remember yesterday, I mentioned that I felt integrity was more than just keeping ourselves from sin... but putting up boundaries to prevent us from even having the opportunity to sin.One thing I'm challenging my students is to set a higher standard. Why do we set in our hearts, "at this point I'm sinning" but we do everything we can up till "that point"? Why do we do that? Honestly, we enjoy our sin too much. Way too much. But think about it, what if a generation of young people... or any age generation stands up and says "I'm not going to settle for the standard, but I'm going to raise the bar."Now I'm not talking about l
Hope you all are enjoying the thoughts on Integrity. Here are some more quotes..."It's not what we eat but what we digest that makes us strong; not what we gain but what we save that makes us rich; not what we read but what we remember that makes us learned; and not what we profess but what we practice that gives us integrity." - Francis Bacon"Integrity is what we do, what we say, and what we say we do." - Don Galer"What convinces is conviction. Believe in the argument you're advancing. If you don't you're as good as dead. The other person will sense that something isn't there, and no chain of reasoning, no matter how logical or elegant or brilliant, will win your case for you." - Lyndon B. Johnson"If moral behavior were simply following rules, we could program a computer to be moral." - Samuel P. Ginder"Every wrong seems possible today, and is accepted. I don't accept it." - Pablo Casals"Image is what people think we are: integrity is what we really are." - John Maxwell"The meas
"The the LORD asked satan, 'Have you noticed my servant Job? He's the finest man in all the earth--a man of complete integrity. He fears God and will have nothing to do with evil.'" (Job 1:8)Yesterday, during our student discipleship class, I talked with the students about integrity. I generally define integrity as "doing the right thing even when no one is looking." But really, I've been thinking lately, it's more than that. Here are the 3 definitions that Miriam-Webster give for "integrity":1 : firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : INCORRUPTIBILITY2 : an unimpaired condition : SOUNDNESS3 : the quality or state of being complete or undivided : COMPLETENESSI think integrity is doing the right thing (at all times) AND it's knowingly putting yourself in a position TO DO the right thing. It's not just "not sinning" but it's keeping yourself away from the opportunity to sin. Now obviously, we can't do that 100% of the time. But I know there are times whe
In light of the last two days focused on Integrity, I thought I'd share a few quotes I've accumulated on Integrity. Enjoy.Oh yeah, and be sure you comment with your thoughts on Integrity. I'd love to know what you think!"What is right is often forgotten by what is convenient." - Bodie Thoene"Integrity is not a 90 percent thing, not a 95 percent thing; either you have it or you don't." - Peter Scotese"We are all faced with conflicting desires. No one, no matter how spiritual, can avoid the battle. Integrity is the factor that determines which one will prevail. We struggle daily with situations that demand decisions between what we want to do and what we ought to do. Integrity establishes the ground rules for resolving these tensions. it determines who we are and how we will respond before the conflict even appears. Integrity welds what we say, think, and do, into a whole person so that permission is never granted for one of these to be out of sync." - John Maxwell "The first key to

The very first requirement for me to ever get excited about a political candidate or office holder is they MUST have integrity and a sense of duty to the people. It is frustrating watching so many national politicians take turns going down in flames, their dirty little secrets out: bribes and corruption; moral scandals; flip-flopping and selling their votes. It's tough to find real integrity. I think maybe Obama has it. Not completely sure, but I'm trusting his record and his words for now. I think McCain has done a good job voting his conscience from what I can see. But the man that has stood out to me the most in the integrity department this election is, far and away, Ron Paul. I respect Obama, but I don't agree with him on many socialist ideas
Undermining Democracy: Party Politics and Pelosi's Priorities by Hank Edson Political Pragmatism Many well-meaning, pragmatic politicians espouse party loyalty because the party’s general vision of how to promote the public's general welfare is sufficiently in line with their own. Under such circumstances, the compromises a politician chooses to make out of loyalty to his or her party is off-set by the benefits that result when party strength is applied in service of the general welfare. The goal remains government of, by, and for the people. Such pragmatic loyalty, however, still diminishes the integrity of the political process and the value of the political debate on which wise policy depends for its formulation. To appreciate that this is true it is helpful to compare the political process with the scientific process. Both processes involve an open critical discourse aimed at identifying the most accurate understanding of reality. In sc

Integrity is defined as “uprightness, soundness of character . . . moral wholeness. Honesty, entirety, completeness and purity.”
How do you demonstrate integrity in your day-to-day life? First, you must believe in yourself.
You must trust that deep inside you hold the answers. You know . . . What is best? What is right? What is true?
“To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men – that is genius.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
This is a very empowering statement, but I see the potential of misunderstanding and abuse in this idea. Emerson probably did too and qualified his point with the phrase, “in your private heart.” A superficial application of this idea could be unproductive; even destructive.
For instance, let’s consider the following attitude: “I believe it’s true that I am a wretche

We all know that the opinions the candidates will voice are calculated not to offend the contributions made by Big Business on which each candidate’s campaign depends. We all know that in our 24/7 corporate media culture, the power of the echo-chamber to exaggerate and repeat the slightest deviation from the conventional “wisdom” completely kills the impulse in the candidate to speak from the heart. Thus, none of us believe anything the candidates say is really going to make a difference. Whether they get elected or not, whether they live up to their promises or not, nothing they promise will make a difference because they all have been trained to promise virtually nothing. They ha
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Chris Paul wanted to make sure he made an immediate impact the first time he met Skip Prosser. The star guard was a high school player at an AAU tournament several years ago in Florida when, in a desperate attempt to catch the Wake Forest coach’s eye, he walked directly into Prosser’s path. “I bumped into him purposefully so Coach would get to know who I am,” Paul said through tears Tuesday night during Prosser’s funeral. “At the time, I never knew this man would more…

Integrity is very important to me. My own personal integrity. It is something I strive for. I think it is something I feel a lot of anxiety about, too. I feel as though if other people don’t think I have integrity, then I don’t have much value.
So what is integrity to you?
To me… a quote comes to mind. It’s when what you do, and what you say you do, match most of the time.
Wikipedia says it “is the basing of one’s actions on an internally consistent framework of principles.”
I think it’s when you are consistent to yourself, and to others. So you don’t tell one person one thing, and tell someone else something that conflicts with what you just said. Being codependent, this is difficult for me. Why? Because my initial reaction is to agree with people. And sometimes I might agree with two different people who are saying two opposite things. Or I can agree with a criticism of someone that, in truth, I don’t agree with. Or I c
Business depends on reputation. When an individual presents himself to a client, he or she will often say something to the effect of “Good morning. I’m Jim with Such-and-such Company,” and insert his company’s name in place of “such and such.” Clients will identify that person with that business from that point forward. Furthermore, clients [...]
The family that controls Dow Jones & Company has rejected a proposed plan prepared by its lawyers, asking them instead to seek stronger guarantees of editorial independence as a condition of selling the company to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.
The Bancroft family debated and rebuffed the plan, drawn up by its lawyers at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York and at Hemenway & Barnes in Boston. Even so, the proposal offers a look into the thinking of the family and its advisers and suggests a baseline set of demands behind which the Bancrofts do not want to retreat.
The family had originally called for creation of a panel, named by the members, that would have the sole power to hire and fire The Wall Street Journal’s top editors, who, in turn, would have that power over their subordinates. The panel would also name its own successors so that Mr. Murdoch would never gain editorial control.
The proposal considered this week would have created such a c
--If you haven't already, view the video that this refers to in the post below this one, its over 7 minutes but worth it.--Dan Rather is in hot water right now because he managed to say something that most of us have wanted to say in the past decade. Perhaps his choice of words are easily manipulated which is why his comments have been labeled as sexist, albeit by the person Rather was actually attempting to attack. This past week Dan Rather attacked CBS news and mentioned Katie Couric’s name, thereby allowing Les Moonves (the bigwig at CBS responsible for the News AND Entertainment). Les Moonves was the first one to scream “sexist” but it seems to be that he was simply trying to divert attention away from Rather’s comments about his leadership and the role of news in the media today.Rather’s comments were basically centered around the comment that shows like Katie Couric’s nightly news are “dumbing it down,” and “tarting it up.” Rather says the comment about “tar
➧ You got to make sure that the company management have a long experience with integrity.
If they do not have this experience they probably don't know how to create a compensation-plan based on reality.
➧ The Policies & Terms of use. Do never overlook this part. It's your contract.
The longer list of terms the more overhead, the longer wish of protecting their rights to take money from you. It's their attorneys that have written your "contract" to protect their company. And if you can't find the terms. Look no further!
Look for on going demands of effort like §. You have to sponsor 1 new lead each month or you will not get your commission. Many programs have built in alot of this kind of rules to keep the money in the company.
Be attentive if it is a public traded company. They will always have the investors demands of higher profits, and will probably change the terms if the investors aren't satisfied.
Check if the company's products are on eBay. If they
I fail to see how there is not MORE uproar over the non-stop integrity issues surrounding the broad Bush administration. It seems as though every member of the group has some serious honesty/integrity/quality issue.

Today I happened upon an article I found so compelling and well-written that I wanted to share it with you here. It reminded me once again of the events and persons who inspired me to launch this blog back in January.A Battle for Integrityby Charles R. SwindollI must tell you that I have been troubled regarding the face of things in our country and within the family of God. My major battle has had to do with one word, one concept. My battle has to do with integrity. In our nation—and in the church—there has been a falling away, a breakdown, and a compromise in integrity. Recent headlines have taught us that the boom of the 1990s was built on a foundation devoid of integrity. But compromise isn’t limited to CEOs who greedily sell out their employees or to pork-happy politicians. All too often we find a moral laxity behind our pews and, even worse, behind the pulpit.Let me define what I mean by integrity. Webster’s tells us integrity means “an unimpaired condition.”1 It mea
Fifteen cadets have been expelled and three others have resigned in a cheating scandal at the United States Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, an Air Force official said yesterday.“Obviously, we’re very concerned,” Johnny Whitaker, director of communications for the Air Force Academy said. “The honor code is the foundation of everything we have. Our mission is to train, educate and graduate leaders of character, and so obviously, honesty and integrity are paramount.”“Any time a cadet lies or cheats or steals,” he said, “you’re just as guilty if you know and don’t do anything about it.”This from the New York Times.
It’s Sunday morning just before 7 a.m. MDT and I am not finished with an important post, What Happened to Integrity. My blog postings are about to be automatically distributed. So come back to The Safe Pet Food Blog in a few hours to read the finished post.
The pet food crisis was one huge disappointment after another, ranging from what looks like intentional adulteration by the Chinese suppliers to make a buck to one pet food company fraudulently altering the formulations without the knowledge or approval of their clients. And we find that similar adulterations happened 30 years ago in the U.S. HUMAN food industry.
Come back to find out the details and see what can be done to restore trust in the industry.

No, the Church of Integrity is not based on Christianity. However we are proud to say that many of our teachings come from Christianity and other religions. In this post we'll look into what religions influence the Church of Integrity.First we want to make it absolutely clear that the Church of Integrity is a new religion. The founders however were raised up as Christians and thus the Church of Integrity contains a lot of teachings from Christianity, simply because Christianity contains ethical teachings that are considered universal truth. Examples are that you should not kill a man and you should treat others like you want them to treat you. The ethical teachings from the church are still being announced on this blog and in fact then they are always being revised and new teachings being added because a church needs to stay up to date and specifically talk about what concerns people at that time. Thus we'll start with many good examples from Christianity and we hope to expand our h
Corporate Responsibility Monday’s seeks to inform you about the corporations from which you consume. I’ll be highlighting a company that seems to be getting the Responsibility part right, and my partner in this Tag Team endeavor, Josh, will be highlighting a company that seems to be slacking on it’s responsibility. The goal always is to inform you, and hopefully to encourage you to make choices with your lifestyle and purchases that are more inline with your ethics then you currently are. This week, we’re talking about fast food. Be sure to check out Josh’s post on an irresponsible company (and no it’s not the golden arches, you already know not to eat there).

“Food With Integrity” isn’t a marketing slogan. It’s not a product line of natural and organic foods. And it’s not a corporate initiative that will ever be finished or set aside to make room for o
The Church of Integrity is founded on the following statement:Do what is right.Of course it is impossible to capture the whole message of the church in one sentence but the above goes pretty far in doing so. Religion involves among other things a code of ethics, a philosophy of life and a worldview. The above statement captures the essence of that. We lead our lives by making decisions that confirm to what we feel is ethically right. So what is the right thing to do? Couldn't you justify murder and other evil deeds then by simply saying that you felt it was right? In the Church of Integrity we believe that ethics are deeply connected with biology in the sense that we, humans, are preprogrammed with certain ethics that have helped the species to advance and survive for a long time. For example then most people agree on that murder is bad. We are not so naive though to think that the world is black and white. We teach ethics that we believe almost everyone can agree on. Examples are that

WorldCom. Enron. Tyco. Shocking accusations of dishonesty and silent complicity have dominated headlines recently, and cost the American economy trillions of dollars. Clearly, dishonesty doesn't pay.
Drawing from these stories, as well as from more positive ones, Absolute Honesty shows how to establish and maintain a culture where honest communication is the norm,
Here's a nice piece from Daniel Klimek that was in The Depaulia a while back.Hagel has what it takes: Integrity by Daniel KlimekStaff Writer After Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made her appearance before a bipartisan Senate committee last week, a day after George Bush presented his idiotic plan for war escalation in a nationally televised address, she ended up experiencing a lot of resistance in her attempts to purvey the president's newest foreign policy wishes. The ubiquitous resistance against a plan that would send over 20,000 more American lives to the contemporary, war-infected tragedy that is Iraq was fervently dismantled, with the greatest opposition produced by no one other than fellow Republican Chuck Hagel. An independent-thinking Maverick Senator from Nebraska, Hagel is one of those rare creatures in the American political world: an individualist who refuses to be corrupted by the blindness of partisanship in order to influence decision-making eff

Just heard on an old Security Now podcast where Leo Laporte mentioned the lack of integrity within the British press and I know what he means. Our newspapers are embarrassing. You read so many stories that are just wrong and as for the headlines…
What do these guys get taught at journalism school or wherever they are taught. Same with www.theregister.co.uk, sometimes funny and often just plainly cynical. What is this obsession with the sinking feeling inducing statement ‘a great story’?
I know a nation gets the media it deserves but do we deserve ours. If you mentioned integrity to a Fleet Street hack would he laugh. I’ve got a feeling he would. Why? Have these guys watched Citizen Kane once too many times.
