Members of the U.S. Marshal's New York/New Jersey Task Force took Father Robert Yurgel, 43, into custody in Passaic, NJ. Yurgel was arrested on outstanding warrants from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.Robert Yurgel was wanted on five counts of indecent liberties with a child and two counts of statutory sex offense in connection with a 1999 case. The verdict itself was unequivocal and harshly worded against the defendant.
