Favourite Illustrators of Warhammer 40,000 (V) - John Gravato
John Gravato is one of the lesser known but equally impressive illustrators of Warhammer 40,000.I first noticed his artwork when browsing the Dark Millenium card database (a Warhammer 40,000-themed CCG) and chanced upon his illustration of Maugan Ra, the Harvester of Souls and Phoenix Lord of the Eldar Dark Reaper Aspect. Here's a website which showcases some of his fantastic artwork for Sabertooth CCGs like Horus Heresy and War Cry as well as for magazine covers like Inferno!.  © John Gravato / Games WorkshopClockwise from top:Disciples of Kor Phaeron (Horus Heresy CCG), Techmarine Arius (Horus Heresy CCG) and a Callidus Assassin from an unknown magazine cover. View the larger versions at Cards gallery and the Magazine Covers gallery. There's more fantastic artwork at his official gallery at Concept Box Studios. No titles were provided at the website so I've taken the titles from the Art of Warhammer 40,000 artbook in which one-third of the Eldar artwork in the book wa

Favourite Illustrators of Warhammer 40,000 (III) - Karl Kopinski
Karl Kopinski's official website at www.karlkopinski.com showcases some of his works for the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer universes. Some of his more well-known artwork for Warhammer 40,000 include the cover art for Codex Imperial Guard and Codex Catachans as well as the cover art for the Warhammer 40,000 : Dawn of War Winter Assault expansion pack and Fire Warrior games.I like the way he draws the Imperial Guard in the same way they are depicted in the Warhammer 40,000, as determined and stubborn defenders of the Imperium of Man while highlighting the fact that each Guardsman is only human with real emotions like anger, fear and desperation.    © Karl KopinskiOther favourite illustrators:(I) - Adrian Smith(II) - Neil Roberts

Favourite Illustrators of Warhammer 40,000 (I) - Adrian Smith
If you're a fan of the Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 universes, you've probably heard of the illustrator Adrian Smith. His artwork for the Warhammer universes usually depict highly detailed and life-like characters or ferocious and gritty battle scenes with intricate details. Some of my favourite Warhammer 40,000 artwork done by Adrian include the four Chaos Space Marines for each of the Chaos gods, The Battle for Armageddon, Horus vs The Emperor as well as the cover art for the Soul Drinkers novels by Black Library. His artwork for Sabertooth's Warhammer 40000-themed collective card game is also pretty impressive too.        © Adrian SmithYou can view larger versions of his artwork as well as purchase prints of his artwork at his own website at www.adriansmith.co.uk which also contains previews of his work for other projects.Other favourite illustrators:(II) - Neil Roberts(III) - Karl Kopinski
