Bad jokes aside, a bizarre call was placed to a police dispatcher April 10 after alleged rapper Vanilla Ice allegedly kicked and hit his wife Laura.This call - obtained by TMZ - can be listened to here.Vanilla Ice is a bit past his prime, and is experiencing personal issues as well. Halfway through, Laura Ice (probably not her name, but that’s what we’re calling her) starts talking to the 911 operator like he’s a couples counselor!It’s hilarious, albeit a little upsetting. You may recall that Vanilla Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) ended up being arrested and charged with battery after the aforementioned melee.

A BRITISH Viagra salesman who tried to import ice with a street value of more than $900,000 has pleaded guilty to drug importation.
John Joseph Alty, 52, was caught at Melbourne airport on October 14, 2005, with 754g of methamphetamine hidden in two cognac bottles.
Alty, a British national, had been carrying the two bottles of cognac in a duty-free bag.
The County Court heard Alty was offered $2000 to take the bottles to Australia by a man he knew as “Mark” whom he met at Hong Kong airport.
Defence counsel Theo Kassimatis told the court Alty was drunk when he accepted the offer and had believed steroids were in the bottles, not methamphetamine with a street value of $905,000.

$2.75 billion, or $1.30 a share, from $3.48 billion, or $1.65 a share.
On a continuing operations basis, it earned $1.01 a share, and on an
adjusted continuing operations basis it earned $1.03 a share. Analysts,
on average, expected it to earn $1.05 a share, according to Thomson
Financial. Net revenue rose to $17.56 billion from $16.23 billion. The
company, whose cigarette brands include Marlboro and Parliament, raised
its profit forecast from continuing operations for the year to a range
of $4.20 to $4.25 a share, from its prior view of $4.15 to $4.20 a

General Electric Co. said Friday its first-quarter net income rose 2%
to
$4.51 billion, or 44 cents a share, up from $4.44 billion, or 42 cents

share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose 6% to $40.2 billion from
$38.03 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial forecast earnings,
on average, of 44 cents a share and revenue of $39.82 billion. GE
forecast second-quarter earnings of 52 cents to 54 cents a share and
affirmed its 2007 earnings outlook of $2.18 to $2.23 a share. The
Fairfield, Conn.-based GE is a financial services giant and diversified
industrial manufacturer, making a variety of products from jet engines
to medical devices, and operates entertainment arm NBC Universal. ""GE
Money's earnings were tempered by challenges at its U.S. mortgage

GLDN and ROS are all dominant in their technolgy field, and NNRF could
be the same. They are looking for listings on multiple exchanges, and

would not be surprised by a takeout at or near 20 in 12-18 months.
Could this perhaps be the first CDR on the Russian market? (Like our
ADR) We would expect a road show in Russia and Europe, listing on the
ASE and in Germany and maybe AIM. We would not be surprised if in 2008
the company did close to 400 million with about 17% to the bottom line.
