Last night my husband and I took our 7 year old to his first inside football game, to see the Huntington Heroes play.. they began the game with the Star Spangled banner (as I looked around the stadium only a handfull were actually saluting the flag, I guess they only stood because the announcer ASK them to) and after the lady finished the song they held a before game prayer (I have no idea if everyone bowed their heads, I had and didn’t see). I was impressed that they held the prayr.. for about 10 minutes, until I noticed that every other person was coming up the steps from the concession stands with a cup of beer.
