Here is a great article about one Jimmy Hinton, who dealt cocaine for five years and could be seen carrying around hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, that is until a routine traffic stop in 1995. Hinton then spent five years in prison. And, when he left, former Governor Mike Huckabee (R)granted him a pardon. Now Hinton shares his story in elementary schools and in juvenile detention facilities. As he tells his listenters, "My calling now is, after all I've gone through, is to reach back and get you, so I want to stop you before you get to where I had to go."

Gov. Mike Huckabee joined McCain's bus tour through Arkansas today to aid McCain in his campaign through the state.McCain spoke of the millions of votes Huckabee received during his own presidential campaign and how he thought Huckabee would be very helpful to his campaign-particularly in the south. He said he would appear with Huckabee, who has a 65% approval rating in Arkansas, at every possible opportunity. McCain also spoke of his VP list. He said he did not want to release names because he feared it would lead to the invasion of the individual's privacy but then strongly reiterated that he would strongly rely on Huckabee for many things and that he feels Huckabee does have a "greater service to render to this nation."If you have trouble viewing this video, click here.-------------

The following is the latest note from Governor Mike Huckabee:It was obvious that the campaign did more than bring people together for this one election, but it helped reveal that there is a vast community of conservatives in this nation who want common sense solutions and honest discussion of the real issues that touch the lives of Americans everyday. You took us far beyond what the cynics and media thought possible. You showed that message matters and that no amount of money can substitute for true convictions. When we launched HuckPAC this week, it was the first step to not only keep the “community of common sense” alive, but it was also the first of several steps to grow that community and have impact on the nation through elections from school board to the White House, and on the

Tomorrow, April 15th, 2008 the new version of Mike Huckabee's website will launch at Noon Eastern. Also HuckPAC has surfaced as a group on Facebook already and the die-hard supporters (like me) are already members. Ok, first I have to admit that I was wrong. I called Texas for Obama for a small margin and instead Clinton pulled it off by a small margin. But its not my fault. Rush Limbaugh conspired against me.Meanwhile Huckabee bowed out giving McCain the official green light.Clinton won in Rhode Island, Ohio, Texas, and placed second in Vermont. The problem with that? She only gained eighteen delegates and Obama is looking to cut into that when the Texas caucuses finally report the numbers. For those of you already suffering from primary fatigue there's good news! the following video is Mike Huckabee's concession speech last night. He is truly the most eloquent of orators I have come across in my lifetime. I have full faith and trust that this is not the last time our nation hears from Governor Mike Huckabee. However this is his final speech on the 2008 campaign trial. It is as gracious and eloquent as ever. I didn't want to hear some of the words that had to come out of his mouth last night. I did not want to hear the words that it was over and that the race was finished. However those are the words that were said. I have said it before and I will say it again to anyone who will listen until I am blue in the face. What a wonderful man, full of grace and the most honest and trustworthy politician I have ever come across. I am truly proud
Well some GREAT news last night! America isn't necessarily going into the crapper. Huckabee finally threw in the towel, and even though McCain isn't a friend to the gays, he's still better than Fuckabee. And with Huckabee out, we're safe from his hate fueled/religiously delusional leading skills...at least for another 4 years. And even better knews, Hillary Clinton beat Obama, snagging Ohio and Texas...the two key states she needed to secure her footing in the race. So take THAT, Oprah. Ok. I wont get into it anymore...because I already wrote about how us Demo's could wind up destroying ourselves if we polarize even more on the candidates....so I will merely say, I'm really glad Hillary is still in the running. On my end of things I don't have anything to report. A journey of a lifetime."The Republican race will end in the convention in St.Paul with John McCain as the nominee, but unless he is able to accommodate the views of the other candidates who were in the race, he will lead a party that comes grudgingly to the table. On Wednesday I was driving to work listening to the radio like I do everyday. I don't remember the content of what I was listening to, the only thing that stuck out was a commercial. The commercial promoted the wannabe Presidential candidate, Mike Huackabee. At the beginning of the commercial I was baffled, "why would that slimy little used-car salesman run a campaign ad in Salt Lake in mid-February," I pondered.
