It's official... The Phantom Menace is a really dull film. Actually, just because I say so doesn't make it officially dull. Well, I'm in the final stages of the new DS Zelda game and am having a blast.Before picking it up I'd read online that it had taken a casual approach to the series. Yeah right! Maybe for the first hour or two, but after that this baby has some serious hardcore puzzles. I'm not ashamed to admit this, but GameFAQs has been a popular site with me while playing this game.And let's not forget The Temple of the Ocean King... a dungeon you have to do over and over again, each time it gets tougher and a little more repetitive. Boron, habitual de la casa, comparte con nosotros su experiencia con Phantom Hourglass, un juego que ha exprimido hasta conseguir superarlo. Todavía recuerdo el primer video que vi del Zelda para DS… ¿phantom hourglass? vaya titulo, lo que más me llamo la atención, que gráficamente era clavado al wind waker, del cual guardo unos recuerdos muy buenos, por su ambientación, era de estos juegos, que tenias algún problema, lo ponías un rato y se te pasaban todos los males. Es más, ayer mismo mientras veía el final del juego pude sentir esa misma sensación e iba recordando todas las cosas que le habían pasado a Zelda en esta nueva aventura, quizá sea lo eso lo mas impagable de un juego, al menos para mi, lo que te hace sentir al jugarlo. La historia del juego es muy típica, Tetra la capitana pirata con la que viajamos es secuestrada por el barco fantasma que ronda por los mares y nuestra misión no será otra que rescatarla, con la ayuda de un anciano y un hada

A The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass interview from Nintendo Online Magazine in Japan was recently translated on Nintendo Europe’s site and gives some nice insights to how the game controls. Eiji Aonuma directed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on Wii and has said that with Phantom Hourglass on DS he “would like to make a Zelda that somehow surpasses the Ocarina of Time,” which is often considered the best game ever made (in the Zelda series or all-time, depending on who you ask). At Nintendo’s E3 2007 Press Conference they showed off The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS, which is one of Nintendo’s most anticipated upcoming titles. They gave a long stage demo where they played through one of the dungeon levels. Phantom Hourglass is entirely touch-screen controlled, and while this may seem crazy once you see the game in motion and watch how fluid it all controls, you WILL be a believer! I’m also digging the new weapons and how the touch-screen really revolutionizes the way you would play. The game looks sweet and due to it’s top-down nature and cell-shaded (er, toon-shaded) style, it looks like a cross between A Link to the Past and The Wind Waker! In fact, Bill Trinen said that in his opinion Phantom Hourglass is the best Zelda yet! It’s coming to the US on October 1st and as recently reported will include multiplayer!
