Finnish gothic metal band To Die For might be in the end of their story. According to Metallimusiikki.net blog band’s vocalist Jarno Peräsalo has confirmed this in band’s MySpace site. As Peräsalo says, the future of To Die For is now open. The band has not decided whether to continue or not. In addition they have no deal with any company and they have no demos recorded. Band members may seek for inspiration from other projects and from other activities, so this might not really be the end of To Die For. We will see it in the future. We haven’t done a Name That Candy in a while and this email from a reader named Ed is perfect given our proximity to Easter. I have no idea what candy he is talking about. Anyone recognize it? I have a question regarding an Easter treat I received as a child. Each year I received an egg crate that contained a dozen eggs that looked like real eggs. It came from italian relatives in Brooklyn NY from about 1959 to 1963. The eggs had an edible hard shell and were filled with chocolate(I believe dark chocolate) — but had a hollow center. The hollow center was about 1/3 of the egg’s area. The eggs were heavier than normal eggs. I can’t swear to it but I believe that they were from Italy or produced by an Italian Chocolatier. If you have an opportunity, I would appreciate any assistance in finding them for my grandson. Many thanks. They sound good and a dozen?!?! That’s a lot of candy!
