These videos are oldies but goodies. My favourite phrases?
“Wah ai kio ji buah cheebye.” (I’d like to order a plate of vaginas) and
“Li neh ji xiang han zi? Ai sio kan mai?” (Your nipple looks like a potato? Would you like to have sex?)
Part two here.

Recently I have had posts about places that serves pretty nice food, where you don't expect it. In Malaysia, it is not common for people or the general public to walk into a pub and try their Hokkien Mee or their pork ribs, because, for one, we don't expect to sell anything other than beer, stout, or whiskey......One of these places, is Online Pub at Damansara Kim. For its description please read this previous post I wrote about . I just recalled that I did rant about their ribs and hokkien mee in that previous post, but did not have the right gadgets to take pictures of it in the dark some more. hehehe. Not to mention , this little pub serves some of the best Guinness on Tap ( no they don't taste the same in every pub).To begin with, we were supposed to go to GYM that night. Its a suprise even to the pub owners themselves, oh... this is the first time you guys turned up on a weekday... I winked, and said, yeah.... we wanted some good hokkien mee, so we're here. In actual
This is the very much talked about Hokkien Mee in town. In the previous visit here, we had to come by a second time, because we came to this place at night, not knowing Toptaste opens only during the day. Their stall is different. The front of the stall is pasted with newspaper articles about their food. They have been over covered, but what the heck, cover them again... hahaha.... This trip round, I made it a point to come back for breakfast. I reached this place by about 9am. The breakfast crowd had already left for work, while I was left with many dirty tables, full of prawn mee bowls. This must mean everyone is here to eat the prawn mee. A quick look around, I notice 7 tables, all has a prawn mee bowl on them. Business must be brisk.I walked up to the stall, its manned by the lady and her foreign helper guy ( who speaks Hokkien already). I wonder why she asked me, add what ?(SOP meh to add stuff ?) I pointed at the weird looking praying mantis prawn ( I think thats what
Fiery action
I have heard so much about this Hokkien Mee stall in Kuala Lumpur but did not get a chance to try it until last Wednesday evening. Many people have told me about how good the Hokkien Mee is and how the flames from the charcoal stove will capture your attention. I tried taking [...]
Market was whacked on Tuesday by the stupid currency policy by Thais. They must have shorted the market! Because they reversed their policy at night! Maybe they are partying at some part of Bangkok last night? Why? Because as soon as they cover back their shorts, they went long! hahaha Thai market rebounded 11%!I sold my HSI CW which i caught last Friday. In theory, after a breakout of it's 19.1k resistance, there should be a pull back. Hence I took my profit and waited for the pull back. It came, but the pull back was hard and fast and sharp! This is news induced and hence theory was thrown out of the window. Instead, I related the incident to that of the Thailand Coup earlier in the year. I went with my view of a market knee jerk reaction and bought another HSI CW. I haven't sold yet as I see 19.4k possible target. Global markets are recovering from the Thai cock up and I think after the flushing, now we have buyers ready to step in after cutting loss.I am still not aggressive on s
Cook this dish last week for the first time. Not too bad. My hubby rated it 4-star. ^_^ I like it because it's simple and fast to cook. ^_-Ingredients:Yellow flat noodlesPrawns, shells removed and deveinedSquids, slicedCai Xin, cut into sectionFish cakes, slicedStock or waterCorn starch mixtureSeasonings:½ tablespoon dark soy sauce½ oyster sauceHow to do it:Stir-fried the prawns, squids, fish cakes and cai xin with garlic.Set aside. In a pot, cook the noodle with enough stock to cover it.When the noodle is cooked, add in the seasonings, prawns, squids, fish cakes and cai xin.Let it cook for ½ minute then slowly stir-in the corn-starch mixture to thicken the sauce.Serve.Note:You can add any other ingredients of your choice. You can also blanch your ingredients instead of stir-frying. I only add-in the ingredients to the noodles during the last part so not to over-cook them. Adjust the amount of seasonings. If you like a darker look for your noodles, add more dark soy sauce.
