Ya han aparecido las 2 primeras imágenes del rodaje de Harry Potter y el Príncipe Mestizo en las cuales no vemos a ningún actor sino solamente a una casa que será utilizada como la casa donde se escondía Horace Slughorn. Además, Escocia volverá a aparecer en esta sexta entrega de Harry Potter, ya que los medios han dicho que las cámaras han estado filmando el lago Arkaig y sus alrededores, lo que seguramente podría tomarse para usarse cuando Harry y Dumbledore están antes o después de la cueva donde se encuentra “uno de los horcruxes”. Además, este fin de semana se estarán filmando las escenas del Expreso Hogwarts, donde participarán muchos estudiantes del Instituto Lochaber los cuales aparecerán como extras, vestidos como alumnos de Hogwarts. Strange title for a post on burfitt's autumn/winter 07/08 collection? Please let me explain. Yesterday I've finished reading the last Harry Potter book (it just took me three days...). Its time for an update. School is approaching the end of the semester and I will be spending the bulk of the weekend attending to studying and homework.  I have posted a brief update over at my other blog. I have an ever growing To-Do list regarding the blog(s), including links that need to be added to our blogroll.  Unfortunately, much of it will have to wait until after the semester is over and I have 3 weeks “off”.  I, however, didn’t let this stop me from creating a new blog as a home for the reviews I so enjoy writing.  The site already hosts 3 reviews (with a 4th in the queue) and a list of links to many many other reviews written in the past. All I can say is WOW!     Hogwarts photos here. I spent a lot of time this weekend doing Harry Potter party stuff - I can’t believe it’s only a month away!!!!!   Some how I’m sure it will all get done - but there are moments when I do panic, just a little.  At this point we have 23 kids coming, and about 20 adult volunteers.   Not all the parents have gotten back to me yet, so it is possible there will be more adults then kids at my daughter’s 11th HUGE Harry Potter Birthday Bash.    LOL    I had my one year anniversary weigh in, total lost for the past year 75.5 lbs.  (only 78 more to go).   It’s exciting, and yet a little stressful too — cause I know it will take at least two years to lose the next 75 (metabolism only gets slower).  But I’m keeping positive, sticking to my healthy plans, and after all this is a lifetime total lifestyle change - so it’s not like after I lose the rest of it I will ever go back to eating

The presentation will take place during the ceremony in her honor, as she was named the Mississippi Humanities Council's Humanities Teacher of the year. Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is scheduled to appear in the Tony award winning play Equus next summer. "Part of me wants to shake up people's perception of me, just shove me in a blender," said Radcliffe in an interview about moving from the screen to the stage.
