I keep hearing this meme that Don Imus is a conservative. Wrong! He would take whatever side of an argument would garner ratings for himself. Extremists on the left are painting him as a conservative as part of an orchestrated smear campaign. But that's nothing new. They have been trying this for years. I think the attack on Rush Limbaugh over the Michael J. Fox thing was a "dry run" to test tactics. They were able to toss Rush into a whirlwind of bad publicity so they started shopping around for another target.
