The second season of Heroes got off to a slow start. Not that it didn’t have great moments, but it slammed the breaks on last season. Once it got going it was awesome.
What follows is a status report on the Heroes and a summary of what happened.

Heroes is quite an amazing show…season one captured my attention and just about made me cry when I got to the finale and realized there were no more episodes that season. Luckily Season 2 came, and it’s every bit as awesome as the first! Miss the premiere? No problem, here’s a synopsis!
The premiere episode for Season 2 is called “Four Months Later” and it takes place exactly then. Dr. Suresh is touring the country, giving lectures on a deadly new virus that threatens the entire world when a man simply known as “Bob” identifies himself as a member of the Company and makes Suresh an offer he can’t refuse.
Claire and her family are being towed around the country by her father in an attempt to stay out of sight of the Company, and they finally alight in a new town for a fresh, inconspicuous start. The second season of Heroes premiered last night. I missed it on NBC, but luckily within a few hours I found it using an alternative method. What do I think of it? It starts with a bang, gets watered down in the middle and ends with the usual excellent cliffhanger that ensures you dont lose interest in the series.
Hiro is my favourite hero, but I didnt like his performance in this episode and I hope he doesnt get stuck in the role of comical relief in the series and get involved in some serious action as the show goes on. Clare topped the list of my least favourite heroes halfway through the first season but grew on me towards the end. I really hoped her role would have been more mature now but instead she restarts the whole high school girl, cheer leading, love interest, oh my god I just touched fire and broke my leg for no damn reason role. New characters, death, amnesia, a flying stalker and an English Gaijin sum up some of the other interesting bits.

I can't hold out on my pre-Heroes season 2 excitement any longer, I am excited and looking forward to watching the story continue to unfold in season 2 after a "okish" season finale. one month to go at the time of this post and all I can do is watch the season preview, check out the heroes myspace profile and official site especially the heroes fanart section which is update regularly with art that ranges from the quality a toddler would do to full fledged masterpieces. So if you aren't excited yet you better start to be, because Hiro Nakamura and the gang is about to top the first season (I hope). oh and don't forget that Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori to join the cast of Heroes I hope she serves as more than just eye candy
The sole reason I even turned on a television this year will be returning to us September 24th. What, no “Heroes: Origins”? Yes you might of heard about the “Heroes: Origins” mini series that was supposed to serve as an appetizer until the the real Heroes returned, well don’t fret the show isn’t canceled.
NBC is just trying something new, According to Heroes The Series NBC made a dummy move when they stopped running original episodes of Heroes for a length period halfway through the season, viewer ratings dropped when the show returned from its break. But this year, NBC has something different planned — Season 2 of Heroes will take a mid-season break as before, but instead of re-runs, NBC is going to air Heroes: Origins in its place. The six-episode Origins will introduce new Heroes into the universe, with some Heroes regulars dropping in. The last scenes as I remembered it , were the two Petrelli brothers, exploding somewhere in Mid Air, and with Hiro having travelled back in time to Medieval Japan. Since then I have been waiting for Heroes Season 2 to come back. Gotta say, have not been hooked to a TV series, since ST: TNG. Although I love Supernatural, it just doesn't come close. And just when I thought Traveller was going to fill the void, until Heroes returns for a new season, they cancelled the series...Look heres a Preview of what is to come: Heroes Generations..Watch out for the Date : September 24th 2007. After 23 episodes the first season of Heroes is over. I just watched the final episode "How to Stop an Exploding Man" in which all the happenings of the season climaxed in the fictional Kirby plaza in New York. Was it a good season finale? hmmm good question I was left wanting more after being surprised at how it "ended" and what seems to be a new (or "old" depending on how you look at it) beginning for my favourite character Hiro Nakamura. I think the episode's early sections were a drag though but lots of action was packed into the final minutes when the main villain Sylar and the main good guy Peter met for the final showdown of sorts. Now my Monday nights are televisionally naked (copyright notice for that invented word ^0^ ). There was a Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer sneak peek towards the end of heroes as well as a tiny peek at Bionic Woman - two things I am really looking forward to watching.
