Nick Heidfeld attributes BMW’s improved performances this conjuncture to the team’s recent upgrading of their infrastructure and resources. Since alluring over the Sauber team at the end of 2005, BMW hold put money into almost doubling the team’s workforce, while funds hold also been spent on upgrading facilities such as their air funnel. BMW Sauber has confirmed that it will contest the 2008 world championship with an unchanged driver line-up. Citing the importance of continuity, the team will keep 30-year-old German Nick Heidfeld and 22-year-old Pole Robert Kubica in the two race seats. Following a couple of incidents during today’s European GP, race stewards at the Nurburgring have decided to take no further action.The first incident involved the clash between Ralf Schumacher and Nick Heidfeld which saw the Toyota driver eliminated from the race.
