Nick Heidfeld attributes BMW’s improved performances this conjuncture to the team’s recent upgrading of their infrastructure and resources. Since alluring over the Sauber team at the end of 2005, BMW hold put money into almost doubling the team’s workforce, while funds hold also been spent on upgrading facilities such as their air funnel. BMW Sauber has confirmed that it will contest the 2008 world championship with an unchanged driver line-up. Following a couple of incidents during today’s European GP, race stewards at the Nurburgring have decided to take no further action.The first incident involved the clash between Ralf Schumacher and Nick Heidfeld which saw the Toyota driver eliminated from the race. Nick Heidfeld is confident that BMW has solved the reliability problems that forced him in to retirement at the last race at Indianapolis.
