Before the 128 bit era came along Sonic games had memorable soundtracks. That is a fact. Even now Sega stay on the ball when it comes to the audio of their Sonic games. You can rely on Sega to deliver a decent soundtrack for a Sonic game, just as you can rely on them to f**k up every other aspect of the game.One of the most memorable Sonic the hedgehog compositions has to be "Green hill zone". I think a movie based on Sonic would be cool. They already came out with one for the Mario Brothers, and Street Fighter, so why not?With today's special effects, and a good director, I think a movie mixed with CGI and live action would be great. It could tell the basic story of Sonic. How he came to move so quickly, the origin of the rings, and Dr. Robotnik's evil plan to take over!If it did well, a sequel could reveal all the other characters.But if it was done in a certain lower-quality style, it would probably glance over all the material in the Sonic universe at once, giving each character and item enough screen time to be recognized, but not enough to really be developed.Maybe someday the world will be ready for a Sonic movie. Sonic the hedgehog is officially a playable character Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This isn't that much of s surprise given how Nintendo and Sega have been chummy ever since Sony headshot Sega out of the console race and the shitastic looking Mario & Sonic game. Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed a dramatic reduction in my slug population. I initially put it down to the weather, but after having conversations with my neighbours about them seeing hedgehogs around, I thought that's what it could be.This was confirmed when I found one in my back garden. After reading the instructions I thought the best place for it would be in the area I look after in front of my house as my back garden is quite small.The instructions with the box suggested placing it in a quiet location and making sure the entrance doesn't face North or North-East, to avoid cold Winter winds. The four small creatures are being taken care of in the center Wildlife Ashurst, Hants (United Kingdom). This can be a full title or arcade game. Scour here at the Rally for screenshots, or just do a Google image search, however you want to find the screens, do it (Note: If you find an image that is watermarked, points will not be taken off). I spent many hours playing Sonic The Hedgehog on my Sega Genesis as a kid. I would also through my joytsick at my tv in disgust out of frustration (anger issues). So I've been in contact with Archie Comics off and on, trying to get a gig doing some pencils for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. My initial contact with editor Mike Pellerito last year was encouraging, but apparently they're chock full of artists up there right now. I'm going to keep on trying, however. I mean, cute anime animal characters and robots in the same book?! Gotta have it!I'm at a bit of disadvantage, I'm afraid, as my knowledge of Sonic is pretty much limited to the video games (some of my all-time favorites, I might add!) and the new Sonic X anime series. I haven't followed the "Archieverse" much over the past decade or so, but in reading some of the recent books, it's apparent they've gone in a whole 'nother direction from the Japanese storylines.Below are my most recent pencil samples (from about 2 months ago.)
