Now how is this fair? When I cook, there’s two dishes: the macaroni and cheese pot, and the big spoon I use to launch “doses” at the kids. Sure there’s some paper towel follow-up on the wallpaper and linoleum ... but if you do it within 48 hours, all that comes off pretty easy.
But with her dishes, I’m scrubbing, arc welding, and calling in diesel construction mining equipment ... scientists, physicists, and chemists gotta get involved.

There are few great German heavy metal bands, but two of them I rank as the most important of all time. They are Gamma Ray and Helloween, both founded by Kai Hansen, the legendary German vocalist-guitarist. In this two articles series I present those two bands and tell some latest news from the bands. Let us start with Helloween.
If you have never heard of Helloween, you must have been living under a rock. Helloween is a German power metal band, founded in Hamburg in 1982. The band was founded by guitarist-vocalist Kai Hansen, and the band released their very first album, the legendary Helloween in 1985. The album was a great success, and later on same year Helloween released their second album, Walls of Jericho. On those days Hansen found out that he has troubles playing guitar and singing at the same time and therefore he quit singing.

Misleading title? May be a little bit. American metal band Lamb of God has become one of the rising stars in the metal sky. Lamb of God, founded in 1990, plays trash, progressive, groove and speed metal. Their music is not easy to categorise, but probably the mentioned genres describe their music best. Lamb of God is founded by its guitarist Mark Morton, bassist John Campbell and drummer Chris Adler. In the early days the band was called as Burn the Priest, but they changed the name in 2000 when they signed a record deal with Prosthetic Records.
Later Lamb of God signed a deal with Epic Records and was selected as the main band in the first MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball tour. Lamb of God got lots of attention which probably was a big help to get finance for their music videos. On those days Lamb of God released their Ashes to the Wake album as well as Terror and Hubris DVD. Another DVD was released in 2005, which is called Killadelphia. They have recently released their latest album, called H8. Godsplague’s style has changed towards heavier, away from rock n’ roll. I must say it has been a great decision. The new album sounds just great. The band just got enough from rock n’ roll and decided to get heavier.
As it has been said in many reviews, the new Godsplague album sounds more outraged than the previous ones. It is full of nice hooks, furious anger and great melodies played with tons of passion. “I Will Break You” stayed many weeks in the official Finnish single list, which was suprising for the band. When I first listened to an entire Led Zeppelin album it was during my grunge rock period when I had become obsessed with the Smashing Pumpkins, especially their heaviest songs. Craving more gut wrenching, fuzzed out guitars I sought what many consider the quintessential heavy metal band: Led Zeppelin.
The only album I could get my hands on was Led Zeppelin IV and although it is considered by some to be their best work, amazingly when I first heard it, I thought it was “too light” for my tastes at the time. Looking back on it now I think my first reactions were kind of funny, especially because Led Zeppelin has since become probably my second favorite band of all time after the Beatles. Their unique hard rock blues and early heavy metal stays with me and I often find myself comparing new bands to the juggernaut that is Led Zeppelin.
