Cholesterol levels in the membranes of hair cells in your inner ear can affect your hearing.
Studies on mice showed that depleting the cholesterol resulted in a hearing loss. Adding more cholesterol initially increased hearing, but later also resulted in a hearing loss.
Researchers, however, did not see a connection between consumed cholesterol and cholesterol levels in the inner ear.

VDOT is proposing widening Belmont Ridge Road (Route 659) between the Dulles Greenway (Route 267) and Route 7 (3.4 miles). The proposed improvements will include widening of the existing road from 2 to 4 lanes on a 6 lane right of way, shared-use paths and the construction of a bridge over the W&OD Trail in Loudoun County.
