Good news to report about Mac, the kitty who swallowed one of my magnets that I blogged about here. So far, so good! He ended up visiting two different veterinarians, having surgery and staying in the hospital for one week. He's home now and is improving. Thank You Cat God's!!I wish that I had an updated picture of Mac to post here, but I don't. I can fix that though! Now, for the somewhat gross part. The picture below is what the vet pulled out of Mac's small intestine. I thought it kind of funny that they saved it and that I was the one that ended up with it. The paper and magnet portion of this thing broke down in his body and did him no harm at all. However, the glass pebble was lodged in that intestine of his and is what made him so sick. The picture of this thing seems more gross to me than it does in person.
