Another recall from RC2 but surprisingly not down to a violation of the lead paint standards! This time, around 100,000 units of The First Years Children's Feeding Seats have been recalled due to a fall hazard.
There have been 38 reports of straps pulling out of waist strap slots with 12 reports of children falling out of the chairs. The chairs recalled are The First Years Newborn-to-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seats which include a tray, reversible cushion and a three-point safety belt. On one side of the seat cushion there's a sewn-in label which reads “the first years by Learning Curve.”
All seats are included in the recall apart from those with an "R' stamped inside a raised circle located on the far left and right of the back of the seatback or those with waist strap slots which are nine inches apart.

Sailing (U.S.) International Corp in conjunction with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall of their Flashing Pacifiers and there is a risk of choking. Consumers have been asked to stop using the product immediately.
The reason why 8,000 of the flashing pacifiers have been recalled is the fact that the nipple can become detached from its base; this can cause a choking hazard for young children. As of yet there are no reports on any injury, and as you would expect has been manufactured in China.

Coby and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have just recalled 12,000 portable DVD players. The affected models include the TF-DVD170 and the TF-DVD176, they are at risk of overheating and causing a fire. Both models are portable DVD players and ranged in price from $140 to $170.

There have been 85 reports about this Crib being unsafe, including one report that an 18 month old child hand became trapped between the railings.
The hazard is that the bolts which connect the top corners can become loose, which will create a gap, this is very serious and it could cause strangulation or trap the child.
This recall involves Wendy Bellissimo Collection convertible cribs, model numbers 5945-0521 and 5545-0521, sold in honey and cherry finishes. The full size cribs have a sleigh design and one of the following purchase order numbers at the bottom rail of the headboard: 272903, 272904, 273904, 276728, 276729, 291081, 323975, 324472, 320318, 323976, 332883 365620, 368466 in honey, and 338535, 338537 and 332884 in cherry. All other Wendy Bellissimo Collection cribs are not involved in this recall.
